One of the best quality butchers. Meat quality is very good. Price is obviously reflective of the quality. Meat sets are pretty well organized and easy to choose. Staff are well presented and well trained.
Recently purchased their pies and noticed there was no expiry, use-by or best-before date provided on the packaging. According to New Zealand food labelling requirements, most packaged foods with a shelf life under two years must be clearly date-marked with either a use-by or best-before date. The absence of any date is not considered good practice and perhaps even illegal. They dont have expiry dates on all of their other products including meat products. I really doubt that the pies and all meat are being produced on-site. There appears to be insufficient consideration of New Zealand food labelling laws, which apply regardless of religious certification.
The new customer services team, Chris in particular is outstandingly customer focussed. I have been a loyal customer for years but apart from the owners who will obviously be customer driven they have had a mixedbag of counter staff, leaving a bit to be desired. Good job in hiring the latest Filipino talent! They know how to delight a customer.
This place used to be the original “high quality” butcher. These guys set the standard back in the day with quality goods and a huge variety of what you could buy. They still sell all these things such as frozen pies, samosas, different kinds of sausages, pre marinated meats, spices, sweets, salami, along with regular butchered meats. However, so do other butchers at better prices. Customer service here has always been pretty rough compared to other butchers. Their choice of prewarmed savouries such as pies and sausage rolls are a nice touch but they aren’t the best tasting.
I been there many times They have beautiful and friendly team as much as their meat and spices is good and fresh specially tandoori chicken
Love the pineapple thighs here, sometimes they come with Chilli and sometimes they don't? Expensive but worth it

I bought some lamb loin chops from them today and I must say that the quality of their meat has gone down. They used to have good quality meat but not anymore. I spent almost $20 on a pack of loin chops and almost half of that was only fat. Most of the meat is overpriced. I used to appreciate their quality meat even though it was expensive but since today I think I might go somewhere else for some better quality meat.

Great service meat shop. Shop have all variety of quality halal meats. Frozen imported vegetables and snacks. Great staff with good skills and service. Vide range if spice and sauces sold here. Nice n fresh meat cuts. Nice and fresh Turkish sweets.
