   Was left waiting for a long time with no explanation in between doing my nails and staff are very confused and rude. The quality of my nails (shaping and colour) was not great either. Do not recommend this place. Not a good experience at all.

   Meh. Made a booking a week in advance for 7.45pm and when I turned up they had just accepted 4 people including one they were already working on with only 2 staff.... they sat me down at the pedi chair and soaked my feet for 25 mins before actually getting started on me. They also asked if I wanted any waxing services and I actually had been meaning to get my eyebrows done so took them up on it but the lady was very average at it. I asked for straight lines and after the 2nd attempt I just accepted it and then plucked the strays when I got home. There was also another person in the room that was waiting to get things done. It was a bizarre experience and the place also needs a deep clean - filthy... had to brush things off the chair before sitting down.

   5 stars from me. I only started getting my nails done start of this year. I get gels now and I'm impressed every time. I even bring in my own inspo photos and they happily do it and don't charge above and beyond either. Even if my nails break off which is sometimes the norm for me, they fix them hassle free. The staff are always so welcoming; very friendly. Thank you

   This place has the best atmosphere, best customer service, very responsive when called. Got deluxe pedicure done here, really well done. Actually the best I have gotten so far. Staff are really friendly. Felt really good and relaxed. Very professional as well. I would highly recommend.

   BEST 5 STAR NAILS Ive been too! Wonderful, lovely staff, who actually speak to you (and not continuously, relax!) and not constantly with each other in their own language. Bright, super clean, fresh salon, great lighting.....amazzzzzzzzzzzin spa massage chairs BLISS! Make this place a monthly MUST DO ... that goes for the KIWI MEN TOO .... go get your hooves trimmed, buffed and oiled.. yes front and rear hooves. ❤ Be Back in a few weeks!

   This is probably an unusual review in that I'm rating 1 star for the manicure I received and 4 stars for the awesome service recovery from the management at Five Star Nails. I was a walk-in on the 4th of June wanting a gel manicure. The salon was quite busy, but I was happy to wait and was eventually served by a lovely lady, though she seemed a bit rushed. All went well with my manicure and it looked great once it was done. But within a few days I had a large chip on one nail and by just over a week I had large chunks of polish flaking off several nails. In my experience - this is not normal for gel polish, which usually grows out with the nail, or gets soaked off when it's time for a new manicure. I emailed Five Star Nails with photos and a detailed account my experience. I requested a refund as the service I paid for was not up to expected standards. I was met with a quick, professional response - a refund was agreed to by management and came through within 24 hours. I think it says a lot about a business when something goes wrong and their response is to take the customer seriously and provide a fair resolution immediately. It shows integrity and makes them worthy of a second chance :) .
