I visited this store today with my 2 year old. There was an older lady working there who kept commenting on how difficult my child must be, how he looks like really hard work etc. Comments like that are not appreciated. My child is a happy, normal 2 year old boy.
My husband took boxes full of clothing to the hospice today and was treated rudely by a lady. She went through the boxes and tossed clothing aside that 'had dirt on them'. None of those items were dirty. She also told him to hurry up. This hospice will not see us again, totally unacceptable. My review is not the first to say that the staff is rude
Took a pair of near new children's ski boots, asking if they would like them. The chap in the warehouse who accepts inwards seemed very uptight and bluntly snapped, no, no use to them they don't sell. Hate to give these guys a poor review as Hospice it self dose exceptional work for the community, but it was plain rude!. Went to St Stephen's OP shop where I was greeted with a smile and told thank you.
The two old ladies are so rude to customers who donate items and money! I couldn’t believe how they treated me!!!! I’ll never forget their poor and snarky behaviour.
Nice staff but a lot of the clothing is super overpriced for what it is and condition it’s in.
Love this store. Just about all ways find a bargin here.
Great variety of second hand goods. Like clothing, furniture, tools, books, toys, kitchen ware, linen, art, ornaments & lots of other goodies. All of which are in good condition. Very helpful staff. Lovely atmosphere.
Nice, Clean & well set out. An assortment of bric ō brac, decent range of clothing, books, jewellery & an array of kids toys. Prices are average but there are a coupe of things that may be worth a visit if you're in the area.
