   Quick stop here to use the older but clean facilities, exterior shower provided for swimmers, and even a dog bowl for the animals. Nice play area for the children, with easy access to the beach across the bridge for the family.

   Good starting point to walk / run to Browns Bay and back (about 9.4km return) Walk the sandy beach and rocky path to be closer to the water, or walk the cliff path above to get a 180° view of the bays and Rangitoto island. Breathtaking to the max

   Nice place and the toilets always clean. Lovely brass penguins - not a lot of parking but a big plus is the Centennial reserve just up the road which makes for a good bush walk to compliment the beach walk.
