   Here you pay for quality, comfort and reliability. For the first time in Auckland I managed to keep a style in for 3 months, I could was the style, without compromising the looks. And most significant thing to note was my hair condition after removing the style… It felt strong, and had grown a lot. They are the best in the game when it comes to the range of styles they offer too! I am currently sitting in the chair for my next style :) Also, I have yet to mention - the times I’ve been here I’ve be able to try styles that I’ve never even heard of! Which is exciting for me, as an African you know the struggle of finding a place to trust. The butterfly locs lasted me 3 months :). The price is always well worth it for longevity, style, comfort and expertise. Plus chinny and her team never fail to keep you laughing, happy and entertained!!

   Went to go get my nails done on Sunday, I had given them an inspo picture and they said they could do it and said it would take 2 hours including the time it would take to soak off my previous nails I had on from another place. The soak off itself took an hour and I had cuts around my fingers after. When it was time to actually do the acrylics, the way my nails were being filed and dealt with left me with even MORE cuts on all my fingers which I still have 4 days later. I had asked for square shaped nails and left with what looked like duck nails and I had to file it down myself after I left. I had 2 fingers on each hand with a type of design I wanted (which they said they could do) and it looks nothing like the inspo picture. The whole process took around 5 hours, I had got there around 1pm and left around 6pm despite them telling me it would only take 2 hours. After my nails were completed they took around an extra 10 minutes taking pictures of my nails. On Tuesday, 2 of my nails had just fallen off just 2 days after I had got them done. It is currently Thursday and 5 of the nails have fallen off and has left my natural nails very damaged. They charged me $120 for nails that didn’t even last 48 hours. I will reference my inspo picture, the nails after I had got them done, and photos of my nails today.

   I walked into Chinnys Beauty Space with a lace front and head full of glue. I was scared it wasn’t going to come out as it had been over applied by a different hair dresser. Chinny and her team immediately welcomed me and made me feel so comfortable. She stayed overtime and with care was able to remove the glue from my hair and scalp. Chinny and her team knew exactly what they were doing and talking about. They not only gave me a weave that was suitable, but also fixed the one I went in with. Thank you Chinny for looking after me! You feel warmth once you walk in her salon and Chinnys bubbly personality and energy fills the room. Definitely a regular and will be back!!!

   I recently got my cornrows done here and I was so impressed by the service and quality of work. I just wanted simple cornrows on my hair and they are the neatest I’ve ever had + it was done so gently and swiftly (Favour thank you!) . This new business deserves more recognition and is going to do so well! Pay them a visit! Tell your friends, cousins, aunties… all of them!
