   Honestly, I love this place. Hūnua Mini Super Markets somehow has everything you could ever need from the usual groceries and essentials to little surprises you didn’t know you were looking for. The shop may be ‘mini’, but they’ve packed so much into it that you will never leave without what you came for (and usually a few extra treats too). And the best part? The goats. Yep actual goats you can see while you’re there. It’s the most wholesome thing ever, and it made my day. The people who work there are super friendly and supplied me with everything I need to get back to uni. If you’re anywhere near Hūnua, definitely pop in. Even if you don’t need anything, go for the goats.

   It's so helpful that the mini supermarket is our backup. We are having 3 days 2 nights at the Hunua Falls Camp Site. I visit the mini supermarket for tomatoes sauce. It's good to see the varieties and the prices are reasonable.

   Very rude man ,who has got even ruder over time. Overcharged for eggs when I pointed the shelf price out he went and changed it to what he'd charged me!!! Refused point blank to honor shelf price and I became yet ANOTHER woman who he yelled at .He's a disgrace to the many lovely dairy owners. Can only assume positive reviews were meant for Hunua General Store where the staff are great.

   Shop owner was very rude! Asked him if the eggs were free range or not, had the cheek to say 'can you hurry up someone is waiting outside'. I was only in there literally 5 seconds! I guess he didn't want my money! Also, the person waiting was in the shop before I was and came out because he hadn't decided what to get and told me I could go in. Won't be going there again!
