   I would not recommend this company — they do not stand by their products. I purchased a full house lot of expensive tapware from them, and two taps began leaking. I emailed Stephen with a video showing the issue — he responded quickly at first, asking for my courier address. I replied immediately… then nothing. A few weeks later, I followed up by email — still nothing. I called multiple times over several weeks — no answer. I spoke to someone else at Inres who was great, understood my frustration, and promised to pass on the message — still nothing. I even contacted their head office, but they didn’t want to know and told me to deal with Inres. Now, more than two months later, nothing has been done. I’m left with a house full of expensive tapware and no warranty support. Extremely disappointing service and a complete lack of follow-through.

   I can highly recommend In Residence, in addition to the show stopping - beautifully crafted tapware, the after sales service has been absolutely amazing. We purchased a Rowe & Perrin kitchen tap with water filter around 5 years ago. The tap is a beautiful feature in our renovated Hampton style kitchen. Whenever we have had a query or needed anything, the team at In Residence have been so easy to deal with and have gone over and above.

   Unfortunately I have had to change my review, we were initially very happy with the product and appearance and Lavinia could not have been more helpful and efficient to deal with. We then however got a faulty shower mixer which it took months of heckling and harassing to organise a replacement for. This cost us a lot of money having to call back our plumber at our expense as well as having to keep our renovation insurance policy open months' after all of the rest of the work was completed. We also had a wobbly toilet lid which we were promised a good faith replacement on, reasonable I believe as these are not by any means cheap products but that was never received. We now need an additional mixer but after a lot of correspondence back and forth, second mixer has still not been received and so I'm unwilling to pay the invoice in advance of receipt of the product as communication from Stephan is so inconsistent and ineffective. Its a real shame as we were already in the planning stages of buying additional kitchen and laundry products from Lavinia but will now have to find a new (easier) way to secure this product.

   What outstanding service this company provides, even with people like us who weren’t previous customers. To cut a long story short, Stephan was able to offer us the parts to fix our kitchen mixer (that we couldn’t source locally). We had concluded that we’d need to buy a whole new expensive unit instead. He could easily have have said we needed to do that - but he didn’t. Even more amazing, he then said there was no charge for the parts! Unheard of…but we are so very grateful. Stefan and Ingrid are excellent communicators and obviously care about their customers. We will definitely be back for future plumbing needs. Thanks so much to you both.

   Chris (and James) provided some of the best customer service I think I've ever received from a supplier. So friendly, nothing was too much trouble, very prompt in their correspondence (including quotes and invoices), plus they dispatched and shipped my products to site so quickly I couldn't believe it. In Residence will always be my first point of call when specifying any bathroom products or hardware for clients. A pleasure to deal with and we absolutely love all our Perrin & Rowe tapware.
