   My wife and I recently asked Southern Crossings to design a last-minute trip to New Zealand during high season. They had only two weeks to find acceptable accommodations for us at a time when many hotels and lodges had little or no availability. Gabrielle designed an itinerary that accounted for all our wishes and interests. Using Southern Crossings' extensive network across both North and South Islands, she managed to obtain lodging reservations for us that we would not have been able to book on our own. She also did an outstanding job in meshing all the logistics together--from domestic flights to transfers, activities, excursions, rental vehicles and accommodations--with utmost organization and expertise. Even when there was a glitch because Avis did not have sufficient vehicles at their central Auckland location and our flight to Milford Sound was cancelled owing to weather conditions, Gabrielle and the Southern Crossings team immediately came to our aid, even on a weekend. Southern Crossings' hard work and superb service made our first trip to New Zealand truly memorable. We highly recommend them for your next New Zealand travel.

   My wife and I took our honeymoon in New Zealand and found Pip and Southern Crossings to be a huge value add to our trip! They found places for us to stay we wouldn’t have otherwise, were responsive to our weather related changes throughout the trip and otherwise made the trip so seamless!    Tania and the entire team at Souther Crossings are the reason that my wife and I had the trip of a lifetime on our Honeymoon. From our initial discussions to assistance navigating our itinerary during the trip, this group was attentive, kind, professional, and knowledgable about the many locations and excursions that we got to experience in countries as beautiful as New Zealand and Fiji. Most importantly, they demonstrated a keen understanding of us as customers and planned a trip that encapsulated everything we were looking for in our two-week stay.    Southern Crossings planned a fantastic trip for us. Not being familiar with New Zealand at the beginning of our discussions with Southern Crossings, it initially felt overwhelming to us to zero in on what to cover. Both Sarah and Sara listened carefully, got a sense of what we would like to experience and our timeline and budget, and planned a great trip that really hit all the marks. It is obvious that they are familiar with lovely lodges/accommodations and have great taste, and they really paid attention to be able to arrange for what we wanted at each stop. All responses/planning was prompt and timely. Also, the itinerary that was prepared was such a good resource for us and was so accurate; it really helped us to navigate through each day. We are so grateful to them for planning for us two great weeks in New Zealand! Ngā mihu nui!

   After a consultation phone call to review the things we liked to do on vacation, Southern crossings crafted the perfect New Zealand experience for my husband and me. They developed great combo of adventure, wine tasting, culture, relaxation and unique excursions (our helicopter landed on a glacier!). After our trip needed to be pushed out a year, they worked with us every step of the way to ensure we had an enjoyable time which included last minute adjustments. They were in touch all throughout our trip to the North and South Island and we always felt taken care of. Anyone considering a trip to NZ (which should be everyone) should work with this group. Big Thanks especially to Sarah and Jane. Can’t wait to go back!
