   Last year around November or December, my aunt bought a 4.54g gold chain from Pooja Jewellers for around $800 for her grandchild. Recently, the chain broke, so we went back to the shop to get it repaired. They said it would cost $50 to fix, which was already surprising. We were also looking to buy a heavier chain and wanted to trade in the old one. They showed us a 9.45g chain for $2500 and offered only $675 for our old chain. When I asked how much they would give us if we simply returned the chain, they said just $670 – even though gold prices have increased since last year. I raised this point, and the lady responded very rudely, saying they pay GST for one year. I questioned how GST applies again if the item was already sold last year, but they couldn’t give a clear answer. Then a man came and said they pay for making charges, GST, and other costs. Their behavior was unprofessional and disrespectful. We left the shop and went to Ravi Jewellers, where we were treated much better. We ended up buying a heavier chain from them, and they accepted our old chain for $900 – even though we originally bought it for $800. That’s a fair deal. Compared to the $675 offered by Pooja Jewellers, you can clearly see the difference in value and customer service between the two shops. Their poor attitude, low trade-in value, and unclear pricing make for a very bad experience. Please be careful before shopping there.

   I visited this shop with my wife and we were truly impressed by the warm and welcoming behaviour of the couple who run it, as well as the amazing variety of designs they offer. From earrings and bangles to rings and more their collection in both gold and silver is very beautiful. The service was excellent friendly, patient and attentive. They also offer ring resizing and many other handy jewellery services. Definitely a must-visit if you’re looking for quality gold or silver pieces. Thank you !
