Ashwin didn’t just recommend drinks—he understood the assignment. I said I wanted something “smooth, classy, but slightly chaotic,” and he handed me a whisky that tastes like James Bond doing stand-up comedy. Then somehow convinced me to also grab a gin that smells like a forest picnic, a rum that feels like a Caribbean vacation in a glass, and a beer that high-fived my taste buds. I don’t know how he did it, but I respect it. The selection? Outrageous—in the best way. It’s like Disneyland, but for grown-ups and with better snacks (and by snacks, I mean liquor).
