   We have two 12 year old recliner rocker chairs which developed (different) problems with the mechanism. They were both fixed for no charge under the lifetime warranty. The service was superb - the Lower Hutt store was very helpful and Sofa Tech and their repair man were first class. It's one thing to offer a lifetime warranty but it's another to honour it so graciously and efficiently. Top marks all round and our appreciation.

   Unbelievably helpful. Had a problem with a old recliner which wasn't purchased from them. Understood the issue and had a "let's fix this" attitude. This would be the first place I would go if I was going to purchase furniture. Excellent customer service.

   I have purchased 2 recliners from these people. Still waing on the second one after ordered 4 and a half months ago and being told 3 different delivery dates. Very disappointed with the first one and the lack of service. Within days of getting the chair home the seat foam had lost its resilience. Causing my head to be pushed forward by the top roll of the back. Initially it sat in the nape of my neck and was fabulously comfortable. All I want to know is where can I take it to be modified with a higher density foam on the seat. I do not want to make a claim I just want to get it fixed Not happy to pay but quite prepared to. Have just found Morgan’s 0800 number and have had very positive assistance. It appears the problems are mainly with Smiths rather than Morgan

   I purchased a leather lounge plus a recliner chair and ordered it with leather fabric. The reason I chose leather was because of it’s durability and lifespan. I also purchased a Gold Care Warranty. After having the chair for 3 years and no children just 2 adults using the lounge and chair the fabric has started to wear on the arms. We contacted the store the furniture was purchased from who made contact with the manufacturer. It’s pretty disappointing that it has been classed as wear and tear after 3 years of ownership and the leather is wearing… I would never recommend this furniture….. leather should last longer then 3 years

   nearly 5 year old Serenity recliner 'ratchet' not holding securely. Under warranty (just) & repairman Tony attended yesterday, repairing unit & tweaking companion chair too, which was slightly suspect .. pleasant & efficient. Bravo !
