   Highly recommend swinging by if you’re looking to level up your surfing or just want honest advice from folks who care. Stepping down from a fun board and figuring out what shortboard would actually suit me. Had my heart set on the HK, convinced it was the one. Instead of just selling me a board, Nick took the time to really understand where I was at with my surfing, and gave me a proper chance to figure it out demoing a range from a 6’8” mid-length to the shortboards I thought I wanted. I kept circling back, talked, debated, back and forth in the shop, not once did he push. Just real patience, real experience, and a knack for matching people with boards that actually suit them, Nick's also a mechanical engineer with surfer’s soul and he’ll break down the mechanics of fins, rails, and rocker with genuine stoke, and you’ll find yourself listening for way longer than you expected :D Eventually went with a 6’2” PU S7 and it’s been spot on. Super easy transition, even in bigger days, already started pushing my turns and progressing. 1st PU board for me, and now I’m hooked. Wouldn’t buy a board from anywhere else.    Best spot in Auckland for new boards and surfing advice - I bought a new Tokoro surf board for my trip to Indonesia and Nick was extremely helpful; sussing out the right board for my needs, along with giving me intel on all the accssories, i.e. the right fin setup, tail pad options, leash and other items useful for my trip. Also, in the past I bought a new Vissla 4/3 wetsuit and I have regained my froth for winter surfing. Highly recommend heading here for all your surfing needs - handy location, and smart people in-store to help you make the right choice. Cheers team
