   A caring team, but challenges with stability. The staff were lovely and caring, but there was frequent turnover and changes in management, which made it difficult to build consistent relationships. Research highlights the importance of strong connections with caregivers in the early years, and unfortunately, this seemed lacking... Resources appeared limited, and staff often stretched...(not their fault!) While the centre is clean and the staff are nice, it may not offer the "best start" every child needs. Management never said goodbye or wished us the best... after our daughter spent over one year there. My wish would be that they invest in keeping their staff happy, well paid, and ensuring they feel valued as the work they do is of utmost importance.

   Love this daycare for my daughter who is in the under 2's room. She loves going everyday, and loves the outdoor area. She sleeps great in the quiet blacked out nap room too. Thank you!

   Really enjoying our experience at BestStart Birkdale. The teachers listen and actively engage with us, send up great updates, and take the time to help work through any issues (namely our baby's sleep at daycare). Highly recommend.

   AWFUL MANAGEMENT & NOT FLEXIBLE At first I was impressed with their facilities and the teachers. However, my nightmare started to begin after sending my daughter there about 2 weeks. First, I booked lunch for our daughter as she is a fussy eater but she didn't eat their lunch. Therefore I decided to prepare lunch for her and asked the centre if I can remove lunch that booked with the centre but they said NO! And we were charged for lunch meals on the day our daughter was there full day. Second, after we stopped sending our little girl to BestStart Birkdale, they supposed to cancel our debit card but they kept charging us until we noticed when checking bank details. We requested for an explanation as well as refund of incorrectly charging for 3 weeks and 4-week meals fees. They confirmed that the money will be with us on 16th March but until now we HAVE NOT received the payment yet. Last but not least, they require for any changes, parents have to let them know 2 weeks in advance. Most teachers will arrive to the center at 9am. Before 9am there were 2 teachers (1 teacher and centre manager) will look after more than 10 babies and toddlers (from what I witnessed). They distract the little ones by letting them play with a plastic container that filled with water or ice cubes. Most of them were drinking dirty water and eating ice that covered with sand without an adult supervision! Some had heavily running nose but nobody was there to wipe for him. I'm glad our daughter is not with their center anymore!

   I am blown away with the quality at BestStart Birkdale. The teacher's are experienced , welcoming , nurturing and friendly. My child is excited to attend the Centre everyday and and is always welcomed by our friendly Centre manager Chelsea and the teaching staff. You feel warm and welcomed from when you first walk in to the Centre. The building itself is state of the art and modern as it is a brand new Centre. The resources are all new and age appropriate for each classroom. The food is nutritious and my child loves the food :) The staff are always smiling and are always happy to help with any question's I have.

   So happy with Beststart Birkdale. The centre is beautiful, everything is well organised, great communication and awesome activities & healthy food for the kiddies. On top of that, the teachers are amazing!

   We are always welcomed with smiles and feel a home a away from home. The Centre manager Chelsea and her team go above and beyond for the children they care for. Our daughter is very lucky to be in such an amazing learning environment with well equipped resources to explore :)
