   They will put this ugly dye on your roots after you get a balayage because it will ‘grow out better’ when in reality, the dye will never come out. Came back to the salon after 1 month because the dye didn’t wash out and was told to wait a few more weeks. Returned again and then was told that they can no longer offer a refund as the period to return to the salon was too long. They only were going to offer me 40% discount on my next service??! If I had the time I would take them to the tribunal as they violated the consumer act of stating on their website they would give you a refund if not happy! Shame on you Vivo you’re the worst salon ever. Reply back: Poor response. I have already tried to reach out to the customer care team SEVERAL times before with no resolution in sight. They will try to blame you for not coming back sooner and offer no refund. How pathetic you as a company have tried to put up a front that you care about your customers. They are eager to grab your money but not so eager to see unhappy customers complain. So funny that your reply on google reviews is quicker than a customer care email sent out. WOW!

   I visited Vivo Hair Salon Alexandra Park on 3rd Sep for a keratin straightening treatment and was thoroughly disappointed with the service. I'm not sure if it was the lady who did the treatment or their product was sub standard. They said that they use KERA for the treatment. But the overall result of the service was very very disappointing and resulted in my hair being frizzy and unmanageable instead of straight and smooth. When I contacted the salon the following day to express my dissatisfaction, the manager showed a complete lack of interest and concern. It was evident that my hair was handled by someone inexperienced, which is unacceptable for a professional salon. I'm including the pictures taken a couple of hours after the treatment. I invested a significant amount of money and three hours of my time and had my hair undergo the stress of the treatment, only to receive subpar results and considerable hair breakage I must mention here that, I have curly hair and I always lose some hair Keratin treatment done. Unfortunately due to the poor quality of the treatment, I am now unable to undergo another keratin treatment for the next three to four months, which is particularly frustrating as I am traveling soon and wanted to look my best. My keratin experience at VIVO Alexandra Park has been disheartening and sad. I was hoping when I went back the next day, the manager would at least inspect the condition of my hair and check if the Kerition was applied correctly. This did not happen. I would strongly advise against choosing this salon for keratin treatments. There is a lack of professionalism and customer care.

   I’ve always shopped for a bargain & that’s what I’ve done with my hair as well. I’ve turned 60 & noticing a few things are changing, one being my hair… The colour, cut & style plus I have to admit a few bald patches of which can be quite noticeable so I booked into Vivo Alexandra Park. Knowing it was going to cost yet let’s face it…if you want time & quality be prepared to pay. I had an in-depth consultation with my stylist CORNE’ who explained each process. I’ve never had this attention to detail… Corne was absolutely marvelous & having such a difficult colour to change I knew it was going to be a process. I know we haven’t finished, yet after the first visit I’m definitely going back…it took a few hours, great conversation & coffee & totally worth every cent…of which break down each hour & it’s reasonably priced for quality! Hey ladies we pay exorbitant prices for plumbers etc…this is our precious locks so I say go for it!!! There is an air of professionalism yet kindness & caring & I’m looking forward for what the next shade will be. I highly recommend Vivo & staff! A huge Thank you to Corne’. I look forward to seeing you next time! I love my new look!!!

   I went for a hair colour and cut to Vivo yesterday. I was new to Vivo. Kandi came with a nice welcoming smile and she explained my options very kindly before we start. I was so surprised once she finished my hair. It was amazing. She made me look very different and I always wanted that look. Kandi is very professional and she has a magic on her fingers. I highly recommend her and she will be my hairdresser from now on.

   Great Salon I did QIQI Hair treatment, definitely recommend If you are looking for a service in between Permanent hair straight and Keratin ask for QIQI service. Good results no hair chemicals annoying smell. TOTALLY VEGAN Try it if u want no damage to hair and still get that great silk sleek look. Very friendly staff amazing ambience

   10/10 recommend Vivo at Alexander park!! My sister and I saw Anjali and Dipika who were so nice and both did an incredible job on our hair! The whole salon felt super homely and is really beautiful, and thank you to the manager (I'm sorry I forgot her name) for helping with great product recommendations and didn’t feel upselled at all ☺️ if you’re looking for a new stylist don’t walk, run here!
