They have taken so good care of my daughter. My daughter has been attending Young and Amazing since 10 months old, she really bonded with the teachers and they have plenty of diverse activities to really promote their development. I was recommended by a friend and I would recommended to anyone!
Very kind passionate teachers who are such experts in caring and educating our children. Both my kids have been through young and amazing. Preschool 2 really does prepare them for school. Highly recommend.
I’m a big fan of young and amazing and so grateful for the care they provide. Our little one loves going to young and amazing, often talks about the kids and teachers and what she has learnt. The staff are so kind and their experience working with children really shows. The centre was purpose built, so lots of outdoor space, well designed rooms, and it’s set back from the road. The staff also give lots of updates which is great. I also love that my little one is often bringing home art work, creations (mothers days, matariki etc) and they have extra events/ themes/ activities on regularly.
We rate this daycare so highly, our daughter is nearly 3 and has been going since she was 10 months old. The teachers and staff are so welcome and nurturing, our daughter absolutely adores them all and loves going. It’s amazing to see how well children can succeed in such a loving environment. Other than the care and amazing learning provided it also exceeded our expectations with food provided. Every day a healthy cooked meal is provided meeting all of our child’s nutritional needs and this takes such a big weight off needing to make packed lunches. Wouldn’t send our child anywhere else :)
Our family absolutely LOVES Young & Amazing! The staff are just wonderful and all genuinely care about the welfare of our daughter. It is a very safe and supportive learning environment and we couldn’t be happier with the service they provide. I would highly recommend Young & Amazing to any parents looking for a well-rounded, supportive learning environment for their child.
THE BEST DAYCARE IN TOWN! The loveliest staff who really nurture the children. Our kids feel loved, safe and have really flourished here. The centre has been purposely built to cater to all early childhood age groups and so do their fun and adventurous programmes. We have moved suburbs and still I refuse to change daycares! Cannot recommend Catherine, Kym and the team at Y&A highly enough!!
Cannot speak highly enough of the team at Young & Amazing. My son started when he was 15 months old, and I just love how much he has thrived in his time there - he is about to transition into the final room to spend the last 12 months before starting school! He is confident, sociable and eager to tell me all about the adventures he's been up to each day. The things they do are just amazing, and the fact he's excited to go there speaks volumes. Every teacher is patient, thoughtful and kind. I really can't thank everyone at the centre enough for giving our whole family such a great experience.
It's been five years of truly fantastic care and attention from the superb staff at Young and Amazing for our kids. They've thrived and loved every moment of their journey here, ready for school and what lies beyond. We've felt informed and involved every step of the way by the centre.
Made a phone booking to visit the centre as a parent. Was told that the open day had just passed but I could come for a visit instead. Centre wasn't able to give me an indication if there would even be space for my child in 6 months time until I visited and confirmed my interest. After arranging a time and walking with my baby all the way to the centre I was told there was no record of my booking and I was not able to look around the centre as manager was away, no exceptions. Was also told that most parent visits are when children arent actually in the rooms (??). After asking to call the manager for query, the only option given was to come again next week. However, this was not an option for myself. Very disappointed. Edit after owner response: Hi Catherine, I was really looking forward to visiting your centre, including having a look in the classrooms with children present. I feel this is important in allowing me to get a sense of what the room is like. However I do understand this may not be standard practice for first time visitors at Young and Amazing and that there are reasons for that. I was not told this during my initial phone call. My main complaint was in the response I was met with on the day. If I was allowed some flexibility (e.g. to take a quick peek into the rooms) rather than expressions of doubt about my booking and the inflexibility I was given, I would have been happy to arrange another subsequent visit. My effort to book ahead and take time out of my day to walk with my baby there seemed almost disregarded at the time, and I was made to feel like a nuisance even though the situation was at no fault of mine. I have enrolled my child at another centre, but I do appreciate your response and apology.
