   Visit date: 02/12/2024 First contact to workshop re failed repairs: 13/04/2025 Last contact from workshop: 30/04/2025 Follow up from me: 01/05/2025 No response to date. Update: have just paid $600 for new tyres and wheel alignment - technician confirmed the poor workmanship, and also confirmed they should not have let me leave the workshop - with how out of line the alignment was. It was really bad. I initially went to Safe Drive for a WOF, which failed. I then took my vehicle to Steve Roos Motor Services to carry out the listed repairs. After paying for those repairs, they did a second WOF themselves and failed it again on additional issues not previously listed. I paid again for more repairs, including steering components, a wheel bearing, and brakes. Altogether I spent over $1,100 across both visits, trusting that the car would be safe and roadworthy. However, no one mentioned a wheel alignment was necessary, on either invoices. Given the steering and suspension work done, this should have been standard or at least clearly advised. Because the alignment wasn’t done, my near-new front tyres (less than 6 months prior) wore down unevenly and are now down to canvas within a few months. Jared argues that there was 4mm of tread remaining, how? They’re on canvas now, the other two? Near new still. The car now has poor handling and a crooked steering wheel, issues that did not exist before the repairs, and now sits undriveable until it is back to WOF + safety standard. When I raised this with them, I got one dismissive reply and then was ignored. Now I’m left with more repair costs due to damage that could have been avoided with proper care and communication. Very disappointed in the lack of responsibility or follow-up. I can’t recommend this workshop based on my experience. It’s a shame as the reviews were so great.
