   Jaan is an experienced and skilled barber. I’ve been getting the same style done for about 20 years and with that as an objective point of comparison, I can say that he just does a better job than other barbers. He’s also experienced enough to read the mood from a customer service point of view - he doesn’t drone on when it’s clear that the conversation is one-way! If you’re in the Epsom area, and you’re paying $40-$45 for a haircut anyway, you may as well get the value from his superior experience and skill. He

   Very poor work ethic. Drove all the way to get a haircut and got turned away at 3:50pm when there was no one else waiting and the closing time is 5pm. The most pathetic excuse of “I’m very tired” from the barber. If you get tired before 4 you should not advertise that you’re open till 5pm and inconvenience potential customers. Taking my business elsewhere, and would advise everyone else to do the same - he clearly doesn’t need any more customers

   Heritage Barbers really offer great quality of service, and highly recommended! The shop is clean and tidy. Jaan is a great barber! He takes his time with cutting, listens to what style you want, and provides advice on what would work better. He makes sure that his cutting equipment are clean before he starts cutting your hair. He also provides good stories and good to have a chat with him.

   I have been getting my haircut from Jaan and his team for over 4 years now and he is the best barber and runs the best barbershop in New Zealand in my opinion. Great service, great prices, fantastic cuts. I highly recommend you stop in and give them a try. He offers everything you need. I receive a short faded cut as well as a great beard trim. Highly recommend. 5 star.
