   Don't take watches for repair here. Charged $25 for an assessment for repair. After about a week had to call them as hadn't heard anything. They couldn't find watch or details so would ring back. Finally they did and informed me watch would need a new movement installed for $600. More than a new watch would cost. Declined repair. Got watch home and had a go myself. Dirt around seal didn't look like it had been opened. Replaced rechargeable battery for $35. Watch working fine. Looks like no assessment done and just trying to sell new watches. Will never shop here again. Only got 1 star because can't put none.

   ’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience trying to return an unopened birthday gift. We were just 7 days past the return window, and despite the item being in perfect, unused condition, the return was flatly declined due to store policy. I completely understand that policies exist for a reason—but I also believe that good customer service and a little goodwill should apply in situations like this. It was a genuine gift situation, not a case of misuse or abuse of the system. This experience has left a bad impression, and unfortunately, it will affect whether I choose to shop here again in the future. A bit of flexibility would have gone a long way.

   Michael Hill Pukekohe, staff were abusive and arrogant, they will only treat you well if you are buying something from them, no customer service at all, stay away from these racist guys. They humiliated me and my husband on my birthday, made me cry and made it worst day of my life. Store manger was very rude, has no empathy for customers.

   I'm very unsatisfied with your services. My partner bought this ring to propose to me, I only put it on during the proposal. Unfortunately, I don't like the ring, so I ask him to return it under the 30 day change of mind policy. When my partner brought the ring to them the first time, they told him he couldn't return it because the manager wasn't there. The second time, the manager look at the ring and said it has a tiny scratch on it, so they can't accept the return. What made me very very angry is that I only wore it once during his proposal!! And it was too big for my finger, so I couldn't have worn it for long anyway. How could it be scratched?? The ring may have already been scratched by the shop. My advice is to not buy from there or any other Michael Hill shop. Or the ring is such poor quality that once you put in on it gets scratched??? You could have the same terrible experience as me. Edit: After speaking with the Regional Manager, they said that once the ring has been placed upon your finger even once, it is classified as worn (or used) item. Their change of mind policy seems inherently flawed from the outset. I have never been more dissatisfied with the service I have received.
