Dr Bek is phenomenal! My hands were badly swollen and cracked and I followed her advice and it worked like magic! She is so kind, takes her time and is simply the BEST at explaining the root cause of things. Blown away! She honestly has changed my life!
So so grateful for Rebekah! I only wish I had met her sooner! I have spent so much money, time and wasted tears suffering from severe ezcema. Rebekah has taught me so much about why my skin is the way it is and has worked with me to find the best course of treatment. In the past, I felt like I was bouncing between health professionals, with everyone giving me their two cents and then leaving me at the door. My first appointment with Rebekah was over a hour and she went through EVERTHING. It was so enlightening and since then she has continued to stay in contact - she is truly unlike any other health professional I have ever met. I genuinely cannot recommend seeing an allergy specialist highly enough, especially when you or someone you know is battling severe ezcema. It has been absolutely life changing!
This is for parents that are struggling with kids who suffer with severe eczema. I highly recommend Dr Rebekah Wilson from Northern Allergy Clinic in Silverdale. We spent thousands of dollars on different medications for our 5 yr old daughter due to severe eczema. She was unable to sleep properly through nights due to discomfort from itchiness. Her skin was bleeding and was rough like sand paper…we struggled with her condition for years We got Dr’s refrence from one of our friends, and because all our efforts to improve her skin condition failed miserably (we tried home remedies, medications, ayurveda, etc)we thought why not give this a go, we didn’t have much hope that it would be effective. We got an appointment with her and I can tell you with hand on heart that this was one of my best decisions that I made in my life :). She is not one those conventional Doctors where you arw advised to stick to a particular diet or avoid steriods, food groups, etc. Her approach was different. She was ao thorough which her diagnosis and explanation that the appointment actually lasted an hour. She prescribed some antibiotics & asked to do bleach bath and use some steroid creams. Through our previous experiences, there was a taboo when comes to steroid cream. In my experience, as I had severe eczema in my childhood, the only long term soultion is serioid and I know it has some downside but to keep this condition under control and at bay, creams are one of the best soultions. Bleach bath something i was worried about it but that actualy made her skin clear from the very next day. I will request any parents who are struggling give this Doctor a chance and I am sure there will be great progress. Good luck!! Sudeep

This Dr listened to all my concerns and even willing to repeat tests when I requested for it, wherever needed. I am planning to do immunotherapy here - hoping to get the allergy resolved from the root.

We were looking for local expertise in the Orewa/Silverdale area and made great inroads with desensitisation. Highly recommend.
