One of the best places on the North Shore for Indian groceries. They always have a wide range of South Indian frozen and dry food products that are hard to find elsewhere. The store is well stocked, clean, and convenient. Special mention to Surinder for his excellent customer service, always friendly and helpful. It’s good collection of Indian and Pakistani food items
One of the better asian shops on the shore. The staff are very helpful and it is well stocked with the spices and pulses. Almost most of the things that you would need for cooking Indian meals can be got here. Even snacks from back home are available. Visit them, you will not be disappointed.
Had a bad experience yesterday. Bought matta rice. The item was already overpriced. Atleast $4-5 extra compared to other stores. Once bought and came home about 10kms away, only to find the rice bag full of worms and insects. So why did the store sell it? Went back to store today and then they say they were aware some rice bags were spoiled. They didn't even mention this when the purchase was made. The rice bag was replaced with a good one which the store manager picked from another shelf. Please double check the item you buy from this store and also check with the staff before buying. Will save fuel and time to carry it back to the store to get a replacement or return.
