   Unsure of what they use here when it comes to brow maintenance waxing & threading but I always get ingrown hairs. I only come here every few months if I’m in the area, thought it was a one off but it’s literally every time I get something from them I’ll get a rash and ingrowns. Never had that from anyone else. Also super annoying to always have to give your full details after your appointment (name number etc) when all you want to do is pay & leave. The middle eastern lady needs to learn a thing or two about customer service and be humble, she always has something to say upon departure. NB: you’re pretty much forced to give first name last name contact details etc every visit. Keep in mind that when you give your details and do a google review you will be called by Susie and asked if you were the person who left a review, she will be passive aggressive and defensive on the phone and try to offer for you to come in as some sort of bribery to change your google review. I’m all for owners trying to better a business however, I don’t remember giving consent to my details being used for that purpose. Someone has stated on their Facebook reviews, it is a privacy breech as a business and goes against the Privacy Act 2020. Also be careful if you work in the area and go to this place, she will keep tabs on you unknowingly. Changed review to 1 star due to her terrible reply to a very honest review, no accountability for the privacy breech either.

   I love this salon! Have been coming here for almost two years. They offer all the services I need, from hair colouring and cuts to other beauty treatments. Suzy and the entire team are super friendly, caring, and always honest about what will work best. The team values excellence, delivers professional results, and the prices are awesome. Highly recommend.

   Such an amazing experience at Hairlab, the customer service the attention to details was just great. Susie and her team really looked after me as it was my first time going to a salon. They offered tea and coffee and constantly checked on me. I highly recommend going here.

   Thank you so much Susie for awaking my hair to look beautiful, soft with volume. I love everything about it and I can’t stop touching it it at home flicking it too the side that’s how much I love the colour the freshness of the hair and awesome customer service. I have been to other salon in my life time but this is got to be my favourite place nice calm place staff was so nice and helpful and Susie helped me to understand more about hair etc. love your work Susie you have excellent service. I will differently come back again and share this place to family and friends also.

   Awesome team of friendly ladies. Suzie and Rita are awesome with my hair . They make me look pretty and happy. They consult you and do what makes my hair look healthy .Ashwini is amazing as well with my eyebrows and facial. Works with patience and dedication. I highly recommend these 3 ladies. I just walked in one day and would never want to go anywhere else.

   I LOVE Hairlab Manurewa! I’m always so happy with the hairstyles I walk out with because Taylor always knows exactly what I want. She’s very knowledgeable, talented, and fun to chat with. All the staff are so friendly and helpful though. I literally emailed them a question after hours, and not even an hour later Susie called me to advise me. How’s that for customer service? The salon’s toilet is also clean and dignified, which is such a nice touch to the beautiful decor of the place. Keep up the excellent work ladies!
