   I discovered New Leaf on my return to the Upper Hutt area, after 20 years up North, and I'm so happy to have found the wonderful Paige! She does a fabulous job on my Russian Volume Lashes and I always enjoy my appointments with her. The only downsides to New Leaf would be the dreary, depressing music, which I assume should be 'Day-Spa calming' but is actually more in keeping with a funeral home or Elevator music. The other slightly annoying thing is that I pay for a 2 week lash infill even if I get them done earlier on day 8 or 10? They're also more expensive than Auckland prices, which I find odd? Apart from these 2 things, which bug me every time, I'm really glad I found this place and the lovely team of ladies who work there. Many thanks.

   Booked the LumiBright VIP experience after not getting any facial treatments done in over a year. This came with an OBSERV skin analysis and was impressed with how thorough the explanations were and what products I needed to continue to address skin concerns I have. The peel that came with it left me glowing and my skin is so smooth after 2 days post treatment. Staff here are always so friendly and helpful.

   Had a builder gel nail manicure. Not happy with the result. All nails flicked off within five days. See photo below… this was taken 3-days after manicure. In response to your comment, Lucy… exactly, the gel started too far away from my cuticle. The photo is three/four days later. I will post date stamped photo. Note that my treatment was on 18 September. I have since had my nails done at another salon and they said my nails were in great condition, so this is not the reason for the poor quality outcome of the treatment at your salon.

   I had the Wellness special yesterday and it was great. I felt much better after the massage and my facial left me with hydrated and plump skin. I have used New Leaf for about 10-15 years and the staff have always been supportive and very helpful.

   After tentatively looking for somewhere as rarely do anything for me, Went into New Leaf and from the moment I went in to ask questions from the reception desk, and the way I was treated , I booked and again tentatively went today for my appointment it was sooooooo good, price was also excellent too with the bonus of somewhere that actually took Gold card !! so much so I have rebooked and it will be my go too for eyebrow shape & tint, and eyelash tint Thank you so much New Leaf for making this old lady feel so good about myself ❤❤❤❤

   First time getting Spray tan, i have translucent fair skin as they come, and Kate was super nice, made me feel comfortable, explained everything really well, what to expect so i didn't freak out, Sarah did my brow/lash tint/shape and did an awesome job, looking natural and asking if i was ok, and a little mini massage around my eyes! warm chair to lay in too! Definitely will return!
