The food and cocktails were delicious, generous and well presented! It took time flagging someone down to take our order, but it was quite a busy time of day. Food pictured is the smoked fish & prawn spaghetti and the biggy breakfast grill burger from their lunch menu.

Stopped in for a spontaneous dinner tonight. They were extremely busy, but found us a table and explained there would be quite a long wait for service. Happy to say that we had a drink quickly and only waited half an hour for food. The meal was lovely. The waitress was a total delight. All round a great experience, thank you very much.

Long Beach: A Case of Hit and Miss I always find the anticipation is so much better than the experience. Long Beach could be consistently fabulous if the service experience was just a little bit better. From the moment you walk through those double doors, the experience is suffocatingly underwhelming. For heavens sake, if the maître d' just gave a little smile, a little flicker of interest! But no, we get an overwhelming sense of, 'why are you walking through my door now, when I'm already understaffed and I'm tired and I want to go home'. You always get the feeling you've just ruined someone's day simply by walking through the door and asking for a table. In fairness, the regular waiting staff are lovely, but for some reason, they struggle to find a maître d' who knows what a smiley face looks and feels like. For some reason we always seem to go with a fairly large group, typically two families. The menu is a little dull, but the pizzas are a safe choice, especially if you have younger people in your party. The beer is the only area where you are likely to experience perfection at Long Beach. On their day, the beers can be stunning, but unfortunately, they rotate different flavours of beer through so quickly you can never go there two times running and be guaranteed they still have the same glass of deliciousness on tap. 'Hit and miss' is how I would describe Long Beach. It's always a bit risky: when it's 'on', it's fabulous; when it isn't, you'll feel completely let down.

Booked reservation to celebrate our daughter's 20th birthday, needed to wait close to 30 minutes before we could sit at a table. Service was terrible, waiting 20 minutes before we were offered drinks, we ordered our meals at the same time. Meals did come out fast and were good. Not one member of staff returned while we were eating to check we were happy, or needed another drink. We had completed our meals and sat again for close to an hour, before a waitress returned, to offer a box for the leftovers. We were not offered another drink, coffee or dessert, which we would have gotten, so we decided it was time to go. While paying the bill, we were not asked if our meals were good or if everything was OK. I have always believed in supporting local, which we do but after tonight I don't think we will be returning in a hurry.

The staff are so friendly and attentive! Out in the garden at night in winter under the heaters was lovely. The food was wonderful. Loved the vibe of this place

Cosy and classy place close to the beach. Loved the vibe, the food and the team especially the lass with beautiful eyes that looked after me and my friends, from accommodating us earlier than the reservation to the drink choices. Also, the lad that has done the best Margarita for me. Thanks, guys and see you soon.

Absolutely divine food. A couple of vegan options including a vegan dessert. The cocktails were the real stars of the show. Service was excellent, I highly recommend
