   Great Experience at Game Roost I recently visited Game Roost and had an excellent experience! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with plenty of seating and a calm environment perfect for both work and leisure. The internet speed is fast and reliable, making it easy to get work done without interruptions. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. I was also impressed with the clean, well-maintained equipment, and the wide variety of snacks and drinks available. It's a great spot to spend a few hours, whether you need to catch up on emails, play games, or just relax with some browsing. Highly recommend!

   My 10-year-old son had an amazing time at this Warhammer store! He was instantly drawn in by all the cool models and games. The owner was super nice and really took the time to explain everything, making my son feel right at home. It's a fantastic place for kids who are into Warhammer or just starting out. If you have a child who loves creative games and stories, this is the perfect spot to spark their imagination. We can’t wait to go back！

   Went here for the first time with 4 friends yesterday. What a great experience we all had. The first thing we noticed what the exceptionally great service from the owners. They were even prepared to change the opening hours to suit their customers We have tried a few internet cafes since covid and this is by far the best in every way. The atmosphere was great, lots of people there having a good time. The pork buns and coffee is delicious. It would be impossible not to rate them 5 starts

   Nathaniel created a homely atmosphere where everyone gets welcomed with a handshake. He remembers your name the first time he meets you. He has attracted a like minded community and no matter when you approach any of the staff you get the feeling that nothing is too much or to difficult. The staff knowledge and willingness to teach anyone of any age is also refreshing. We have spent several hours painting with young children and found nothing but patients from Nathaniel as he continuously helped out. I would also highly recommend their after school program, every day the children came back excited for the next day where they get to return to Game Roost.

   Writing from the perspective of a Magic: The Gathering player here, this is easily the best and most underrated Local Game Store in Auckland. The community that Nathaniel and the rest of the roost have built here is, bar none, the most welcoming and pleasant lot I've ever had the pleasure of playing with. No other shop on the shore runs events so regularly and with such diversity. If you're looking for a break from commander, almost every Friday night we do some flavor of limited event. If you find that commander is all you ever wanna do, The Roost is open past midnight on Fridays and consistently has the tables full with people playing. Thursday nights also support a bustling crowd if one night a week of Magic isn't enough for you. This is my favourite game shop in Auckland. I am always blown away with the atmosphere and community every night I get to play. Thanks Nat

   I've just had my son's birthday party here, and people I cannot recommend Game Roost enough to bring groups of kids to. My son had sushi, snacks and cake to start off with and then they had 2 hours of PC Gaming! The team hosted us so incredibly well. I didn't have to lift a finger, they took care of everyone. Already looking forward to coming back! Thanks team.

   Fantastic place for a D&D themed birthday party!! The 11 year old birthday boy says it was just Amazing. Thanks Nathaniel and Kris for the wonderful attention and care you gave the boys, especially all the awesome miniature painting tips. John the Dungeon Master was brilliant, I was super impressed with how he managed to incorporate the beginners into the game and humour all of the boys ‘creative’ ideas yet still manage to complete the campaign beautifully. Highly recommend!!

   A hidden gem in North Shore! A place to have great coffee/snack while playing PC games or board games. Owners are super friendly and will do an extra mile for you to enjoy your time! A must to visit/go in Auckland. We’ll definelty come back very soon!
