Great venue for work Xmas Party Lunch. Food was great and reasonably priced. They handled our different allergies with care and understanding. Staff were friendly and helpful keeping our drinks topped up. Venue was clean and tidy with good music playing. Thanks team

Booked for our Christmas function. The Platters and Pizza were excellent with a great assortment. Bar staff were friendly and the wait staff attentive, especially Riley was looking after our table. Will definitely visit again

Food was excellent and so was the price. Staff were great and meals didn't take long to come out. Although it was a quiet lunch time.

Te Aro is located in Brew Town, Upper Hutt. Service is good and so are the pizzas! I didn’t manage to take photos of all the pizza we ordered. I love the bitter lemon lime. The beers were not bad. Like how there is a dart corner and dining in used factories is quite a pleasant experience!

Visited on a Sunday for lunch as a big family group - 5 adults, 4 kids, and had a great time! The service was exceptional; friendly and attentive staff, got drinks order done and received quickly and checked in often. Food came out pretty fast, was hot, fresh and delicious. Nothing too flash, but exactly what it promises. We got a selection at the table of pizzas (chicken, and pepperoni), chicken burger, pulled pork burger, kids nuggets and kids burger. Everyone was very happy with their food. Nice to see they have a specific kids menu, as some of the other bars don't. They also have highchairs available and a changing table in the bathroom. Kids were made to feel very welcome. Was also nice and toasty and warm on a cold day! Will definitely be back!

ok, first off... it's Te Aro Brewing. in Brewtown. of course the beers are going to be good. a surprisingly solid cocktails menu too, though. food menu was quite nice, many items i'd be excited to try - a rare thing in my experience. opted for the Caesar salad, was quite nice, thought the egg was a bit odd but it worked, almost perfectly cooked, too. however there was a considerable lack of dressing, so i was eating mainly dry salad, bummer. pork belly bites have an AMAZING sauce on them, but were a little overcooked and chewy. mother-in-law liked her tomato & basil pasta but said it was a bit dry, and father-in-law said his terakihi was overdone. i'm chalking it up to it being busy with several large groups (including ours), so i'll definitely give it another try because there's quite a bit of promise, and the flavors are really rather good.

The food came fairly quickly which was good, had to chase up a drink though. We've been here before and it was amazing, this visit wasn't quite as good. The pork belly bites had a great flavour but weren't as crispy as usual. Tried the beef nacho's for the first time, they tasted of nothing, you get more flavour from an el paso sachet. No seasoning or anything in the beef or guac. The corn chips had some flavour, that's about it. Wouldn't recommend. Husband was happy with his chicken loaded fries. Once we got our food, no staff ever came back for a drinks order or anything. We sat there for about half an hour with dirty dishes piled around from the group we were with. Some people wanted another drink & to order dessert but no one came back. It wasn't that busy and some staff were 'play fighting' on the other side of the restaurant so we paid, left and got dessert at the waffle box (which was amazing & great service).

The food was ok, but the service was exceptional. One request was accommodated with a smile and a little bit of extra service was provided. The staff were great. The beer and the gin were delicious and refreshing

The staff were very kind and attentive, but please remember not to clear plates whilst people are still eating. I would have liked to finish eating that salad! The presentation for the starter/entree was more that of a breakfast item, however it was absolutely delicious so would certainly eat again. Crispy cauliflower salad was a little light on the cauliflower, but it was very delicious.
