    Archaic and out-dated systems. On top of this, service was pretty rude - we received a phone call 30 minutes after spending $60 on sending a few letters overseas, demanding more money and threatening to hold our mail ransom after we had already paid for it

    Extremely pathetic and useless service by NZ post. Both my parcels from the same order with two different tracking numbers got sent back to the sender just because it didn’t apparently have the right address label on it. Firstly, it is ridiculous that NZ post decides they can send the parcel back without even trying to contact the receiver of the parcel for the correct address or giving the receiver a chance to collect the parcel themselves from the collection point. I don’t think this is very hard to do and fair. To be clear the customers pay for delivery and have the right to receive their parcels on time and get proper communication about their parcels. Secondly, NZ post really needs to get better customer service representatives. One of them simply hung up on me when I tried to reason with them about my parcel. Infact I had spent about an hour the previous day sorting out the matter with a CSR on the phone who assured me that the parcel wouldn’t go back and would be redirected to be delivered to me. All I get the next day when I rang up to inquire about the parcel are excuses and them blaming the sender and not taking responsibility for poor service on their part. The tone and way of communication was also very rude. Terribly disappointing experience, I hope I never have to use NZ post again. I advice to use better delivery services who actually know what they are doing.

    Very disappointed!! I sent an overnight courier A5 envelope package to New Plymouth, $10.50 receipt stated New Plymouth, on Monday 12 May. I asked if I needed to change packaging to NZPost packaging, or to add "To"or "From" on envelope...the woman who served me said No thats ok... Well to my surprise tracking was stating it was being delivered to me in Lower Hutt! I opened a case with NZPost online....only to find out from their investigation team that someone at the postshop put "To" me the sender and "From" my Nana the receiver!! I went into shop yesterday before I knew who had done what, and was totally fobbed off and told we can't help you once package has left here!! Your mistake and misinformation is not ok!! Hopefully my 97 year old Nana gets her package tomorrow Friday 16 May! Not a happy customer and will not return to your postshop!!

    Have a little patience especially with folk coming in for the first time, not sure of how things work. I get that ur pretty busy at times but a little friendliness goes a long way. In fairness you're not lacking with efficiency though, so I guess that's what's most important.

    Very impressed with the service from the Ladies at the counter. Top notch PR skills. Approaches have to be mutual of course. One can pay their mobile bill here as well, for senior folks like me who has that option to, same as your power bills. Great to still have that option going. Let's face it, the digital era is a lot scary for the elders.

    Very poor service. Even if you are in the queue and/or are completing a form as directed by staff, they won't take your post even if it takes 1 minute past 4.50 to complete. At their direction. Use a different post shop if you can.

    I had a terrible experience. I was told to rewrite my form. Was in the queue and told they were closed. The staff were rude and showed no care. This left a bad taste in my mouth regarding new Zealand, I will not return

    First of all, change the time on google. On google it’s showing that shop will open at 08:30 am, when i went there it was 08:56 Door was locked one off staff member said that we open at 09:00 am. I was at the door for 4 minutes. No one has time to wait there because of their fault. Specially when people are going to work. Change your time on google. Staff was super unfriendly. I showed them that on Google it is showing 08:30 am. But still They didn’t let me in. She opened door at 09:00 am

    Crammed inside a book store doesn't feel like post-office. Busy days are hell there. Wrong location chosen in a hurry. It's Lower Hutt NZ post! Change locations with Kiwibank should be better inside queensgate mall!
