The food is amazing! Great for its price, with an amazing atmosphere with beautiful interior. The service and staff here are fantastic! They also sell bubble tea as accommodation. Definitely recommend going.

Great Sushi, one of the best I had. The lady is kind. By the time I arrived a lot of the sushi was already gone. Good sign that they're busy. 10/10 will come again.
Always excellent selection, but tends to have less in the afternoon. Yummy sushi, and fried nibbles. Lovely staff.

Limited cooked food menu, ramen noodles were cooked nice and springy but meat was slightly salty. Portions are slightly small for the price.
could easily become a 5/5, however for the ramen i notice my noodles slightly over cooked and i was super disappointed to not have a soy egg or bamboo in my ramen, and for me carrot and ramen do NOT mix, but the pork was delicious !!! and personally I think all the sushi rolls are yum ! i wish they’d give me more the one soy sauce though for almost 10 pieces of sushi.

I hope they will go back to the menu they had when they first opened. Their original menu used to serve dishes that I only get to eat from high-end hotels. Not saying they don't serve good food now. Their menu now is completely fine. It maybe the basic set of rice bowls and noodle meals but still very authentic when it comes to taste. Maybe its not viable financially to have exotic Japanese dishes in Kapiti but it would be nice if there was at least 1 dish in the menu that would truly shine. Something that does not try to please everyone and is more loyal to the culture of Japan.
