She even handled our return process quickly and professionally, making everything completely stress-free. Thanks to her, we were able to pick out new items that we absolutely loved.    After attempting to use a promotional discount code online which failed due to some kind of glitch i requested support to apply the discount to my purchase. I received the most narcissistic denial to my reasonable request. I was also encouraged to continue to shop even more without support. I contacted customer support less than 1 minute after struggling with my online purchase. And I was basically just denied support by an obedient narcissist bot. I encourage you not to shop with companies who use clever meaningless language like "finalized" to deny the most basic level of customer service. This company does not deserve a dime from any human being who is treated in this way.

   My husband purchased my wedding ring from here on the 4th November 2022 a 14kt white gold cluster ring $3999.00 which comes with a band as well. The rings were extended and we only picked it up few days before our legal wedding on the 4th of February 2023. Fast forward to 2 months in the ring started to go black on the spot on one of the rings. I did call them and they gave me to many reasons on how I could be the reason to causing it to go black. I told the lady who could barely make sense when speaking to me that I am not stupid and am aware of how to look after my ring and I am always careful and how was it even possible to have only one part of the ring go black which is the extension part and not have the other ring extension part go black which she didn’t have an answer to. Fast forward i gave my ring back to the store picked it up after 2 weeks to have the same problem happen again at the same spot after a month. I contacted them again saying what do I do now which they just said to drop at the store again for it to be checked. I am so upset and frustrated that how can a branded store like this scam people into using fake extensions on their $3999 ring? It’s become so hard to love my husbands choice of ring when I constantly think about the fact that we got scammed paying that much for fakes. Didn’t know Michael Hill sold fake jewellery on that kind of a price tag.

   Black friday sale, a v good experience. Looked at the 5-6 items I'd seen online. Some pieces a lot better IRL, others a little smaller. Got a couple of birthday gifts + something for me too. Plus my rings got a free clean while I was shopping. That's a great customer benefit

   The Chinese woman at the Manukau branch working today with the gold chain and bracelet should not be employed by Michael hill as she was rude and mocking her behaviour was shocking refusing to refund me and lying saying she needed “clearance” when another amazing staff member (beautiful Indian lady) stepped in, took over and proceeded to complete the refund for me in the end. This behaviour is untrustworthy & despicable, she refused to provide a solution and continued to tell me no shortly before she stormed off and spoke loudly about me to her staff members in the back of the store. I don’t tolerate this behaviour and I will not be sitting back letting her get away with it, disgusting and unacceptable!! I sure hope to hear how she has been disciplined or how I can take this matter further asap she has no right to disrespect me as a PAYING customer weather it’s a refund or not.

   I've completely lost trust in Michael Hill. I've happily informed Kharishma and Eddie I won't be ever returning to Michael Hill again. As a patron for over 10 years and my family having a long association with Michael Hill I'm happily never returning again. I will happily give my business to other jewellery stores. The Asian staff in particular are rude and unprofessional. They're quick to assume and lack basic sale skills. The final situation which made me disgusted was their constant negligence. I waited over three weeks for a link extension for a watch I had brought for my grandmother. Instead they removed two links and told me I had to wait another two weeks for the extension. From that moment I knew that their negligence could be no longer tolerated. Don't ever waste your time on Michael Hill. They have zero empathy and have no respect for patrons. I regret buying jewellery and gifts from them. Goodbye Michael Hill. Good riddance.
