I am building a dinghy in cedar strip. Initially I had no success in sourcing the material and having it machined. Contact with Botica Timber sorted that. My query was met with "Yes, we can do that". They could supply the timber and do all the machining. The job was done promptly and well. My dealings with Tony, the General Manager and Stephanie the Receptionist were always friendly and helpful.
I needed some black walnut timber cut into manageable sizes from the 'long sleepers' I had from the family farm. I'd been sent away by a couple of other mills before being referred to Botica Timbers. They were very helpful and got my timber cut down quickly at a very reasonable price. The team were friendly and efficient and I'd definitely recommend them to anyone.

Matthew Botica is the MD of BTS. Back in about March- April I was leaving Auckland (for good) and found myself in a right situation where I needed a specific piece of timber, that I could not buy anywhere, and having just hours to fulfil my task was becoming very stressed. Matthew and his delightful receptionist came to the rescue and I was able to complete the task. He will have long forgotten. I have not. Thank You.
