Went in store trying to find something specific in the cosmetics section which it said they had in store from looking online. I spent 20 minuets trying to find it but because it is always messy and never stocked up I couldent. I tried to find a worker but there was no one around, I ended trying to call them to ask if they actually did have it in store but no one answered for another 20 minuets. The customer service and care is horrible

Kmart's online system needs a big upgrade with live updates of stock. Stock is not always accurate and when you visit stores, their system shows stock instore, however there is nothing to be found. This rating does not reflect the customer service, just stock availability online versus when you turn up instore. Very disappointing and happens often, better to shop online.

The ultimate late-night spot! I love that this Kmart is open 24/7. I went at 12:00 PM and it was so crowded to shop. The store is massive and they actually had the viral TikTok items in stock that were sold out everywhere else!

I went to Kmart today to exchange a toy, but I didn’t have the receipt. The checkout staff member was very nice and explained that she couldn’t process the exchange without a receipt, which I fully understood. However, I asked if I could please speak to the manager to see if there was any other option. The manager, Rick, came out and asked why I wanted to exchange the toy. I explained that it was a gift, and the child didn’t like it. He asked for a receipt, and when I said I didn’t have one, he told me I couldn’t exchange it “because of changing my mind,” and he said it in a very rude manner. I told him that if he simply said I needed a receipt and couldn’t do the exchange, I would accept that. But instead, he made an unnecessary comment about “changing my mind,” even though the toy is still brand new, unopened, and not a perishable item. There is nothing in the Kmart receipt or policy that states this. I took the toy and walked out of the store, and I also let him know how I felt. His attitude was very rude, and his customer service was very poor. Rick, as a manager, should know better. He does not own the Manukau Kmart, and he has no right to speak to customers in that way or give incorrect information. According to the Consumer Guarantees Act, he provided the wrong explanation regarding “change of mind” policies. I will be reporting this issue to the head office due to his behaviour and the incorrect information he gave me. He shout look at consumer guarantee Act 1993 . Toy can exchange for change of mine.

Kmart Manukau, located in the bustling Manukau Supa Centa on Cavendish Drive, is the largest Kmart in New Zealand, spanning nearly 5,000 square metres. One of its most appealing features is its 24/7 operation, making it a convenient destination for shoppers at any hour, particularly shift workers and night owls. The store offers an impressive variety of affordable products, from homewares and furniture to clothing, toys, and electronics, making it a popular one-stop shop for families and individuals alike. Customers frequently praise the spacious layout, which generally allows for easy navigation even during busier periods. However, due to its popularity and large catchment area, Kmart Manukau can become especially busy on weekends and during sales, with long queues at checkouts and crowded aisles becoming more common. While many shoppers have noted helpful and friendly staff members, others have reported inconsistencies in customer service, ranging from difficulty locating assistance on the floor to mixed experiences at the checkout. Additionally, there are recurring concerns about store organisation—products can sometimes be misplaced, shelves untidy, and price tags either missing or not matching register prices. Cleanliness is another area where feedback varies, with some customers finding the store neat and well-kept, while others describe cluttered or messy conditions during peak times. One practical drawback mentioned in several reviews is the lack of accessible restroom facilities within the store, which can be inconvenient, particularly during late-night visits when other nearby amenities may be closed. Overall, Kmart Manukau remains a go-to shopping destination for many Aucklanders due to its size, range, and 24/7 convenience. However, customers planning to visit on weekends or during busy periods should be prepared for crowds and allow extra time for their shopping experience. While there are areas that could benefit from improved consistency, the store’s accessibility and product variety continue to attract a loyal customer base.

Just like other Kmart stores, but, has more space, so it's quite good to shop around without feeling squashed when it's crowded.Unfortunately, it offers no toilet and the only public toilets next to Coffee Club was closed at 6 pm. Since other nearby shops are closed at this time, management should think of providing a safe toilet facility for its customers. It's a must.

There a wide choice in the new 24hr Branch. Check out time isn't bad either although it can get pretty crowded in the weekends.

What happened? The manukau store is closed and borded up, but online shows you're open. Thanks for the warning before driving out here, kmart.

The Most Humiliated Shopping Experience ever!! We went to this shop Tuesday night and purchased couple of things about 30 bucks in total. We been stopped by a very rude security at the entrance, and be treated like a thief first time in my life, just because I did not take the receipt when checking out. Their rule is very simple, you cant take the item without receipt. I had to show my bank transaction history on my phone, and eventually got out from that place. Before you shop with Kmart, be very careful that you need to keep your receipt properly or you will be treated like a thief, and I can guarantee that receipt will be the most valuable goods you can get from this shop.
