said they have flue vaccine when I call them but when I go there they said they don’t, driven 12km for nothing
Had a very negative experience in store today. I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years and have always appreciated the care offered by your team. But today after questioning the quality of a product before buying asking what my rights are if the product is not fit for purpose will it be replaced. I was told "well don't buy it then" and when I questioned the motive behind this answer I was then passed between team members while the female pharmacist stood there rolling her eyes. Have some tact, back your products. I've been nothing but friendly and use you for all my families requirements. Make up, jewellery, gifts, health products, hair care, piercings, passport photos, lotto etc. I won't be back unless there are repeat prescriptions to collect. Hopefully I see my favourite person from your store around she remembered me by name everytime I came in and was a breath of fresh air. Nā Aroha (one very disappointed, loyal ex-customer.)
Poor service left prescription that they had said would take 20mins returned 45mins later they served friends who came in after me and mine was still not ready. They thought this was fine and no apology

This is the second time I've been to this pharmacy and felt like the way I've been spoken to has been condescending and it has annoyed me enough now that I felt it was worthwhile leaving a review. I asked for a product (ulcer treatment) and the women at the end of counter couldn't find it in stock. They asked the pharmacist and he said it had been discontinued and to use another product. I explained I had the other product but it worked best overnight which is why I was after the original product. I was then told to 'use the other product as it had a steriod in it'. I explained again that this was all well in good, but it didn't offer relief which was why I was after my specific product at which point I was told pointedly 'well its discontinued'. I then asked when it was discontinued (as I had seen the product online and thought maybe it still might be around) and was told 'I don't know, I've been so busy with covid.' Nothing the pharmacist said was incorrect (even though he couldn't understand why I was after my product over the one available, which I already did have and had used), however the way he spoke down to me made me feel like what I was asking for was stupid, and I was stupid for pushing for it, when it's my body and I'll use what I see is best for it. I've been before (several years ago) and came away feeling the same and only went today as I had tried our other two great pharmacies here in Wainui and so was left with this one. I wouldn't recommended it.
People sometimes make mistakes over the phone and it's really no reason to yell at them that they have wasted your time when the phonecall was only 4minutes and 11 seconds and then when I tried to apologize they hung up the phone. Not the way to conduct your business at all.
Great customer service from Ron & the team at Wainuiomata Pharmacy. When the new supermarket opened, I was concerned about how our local pharmacies would survive the competition. I fully support local business like Wainuiomata Pharmacy who value their customers, know their products, maintain a positive attitude and are always willing to listen and help their customers.
Love coming here, Evan, Rob and the team are always so warm and inviting, incredibly efficient and they are excellent at explaining things. Wouldn't dream of going anywhere else, keep up the great work!
