Terrible customer service. Male staff need to wear deodorant. Unfriendly staff not a welcoming store . Not very well stocked, expensive. Bakery is limited , make sure you check expiration dates on everything!!!

Plenty of parking. Good size store and lots of self check outs. Prices are a bit dear, but woolworths is in general, so if you prefer woolworths then they are all the same.

This afternoon I drove my 78-year-old mother to your Meadowbank store at her request. She brought a couple of New World reusable bags with her and spent $195 on groceries. When we reached the checkout, the staff member refused to pack her groceries into those bags, saying she would not use them. For an elderly customer who had already made a considerable purchase, this was disappointing and unnecessary. Reusable bags are meant to reduce waste regardless of which supermarket they come from, and a little flexibility and customer care would have made all the difference. Unfortunately, this experience left both of us feeling unwelcome as customers. We value good service and respect for all shoppers, especially older people, and sadly this fell well short. As a result, we will now begin shopping for groceries elsewhere.

Woolworths Meadowbank is a convenient and tidy local supermarket located within the Meadowbank Shopping Centre, making it an easy choice for quick errands or a weekly top-up. The store is clean and well laid out, with clear signage and enough space to browse comfortably without feeling crowded. Staff are generally friendly and helpful, offering good service at the checkout and around the store. The fresh produce section is decent, though a bit inconsistentβ€”some customers have noted the occasional overripe fruit or vegetables past their best, so it’s worth double-checking before you buy. The bakery, meat, and frozen sections are stocked with everyday essentials, offering reliable, if not overly extensive, choices. Self-checkout is smooth and usually staffed well enough to resolve issues quickly. One area that could use improvement is the click-and-collect service, which has received criticism for missing or incorrect items, likely due to staff picking under pressure. That said, parking is plentiful with over 400 free spots available, and its central location within the shopping centre makes it a practical and hassle-free stop. Overall, Woolworths Meadowbank is a dependable option for the communityβ€”perhaps not perfect, but convenient, familiar, and good enough to keep locals coming back.

This supermarket sucks. The bakery is shocking, the selection of everything is terrible, they are always out of things and there’s hardly ever staff on checkouts. Expensive too. I’m ashamed that I came here again.

I was going to countdown in Meadowbank after hitting a family of 6 on the motorway and killing all of them because I was going 240ks down the motorway, I then saw a walking school bus and ran them all over so I didn't miss the 2 monsters for 5 dollars deal that was going on. I then realised I had forgotten my gun that was in my pocket. Silly Me! This meant I had to shoot at least 2 people on the way. Anyway as I entered the store I saw brown stains all over the ails and white stains all over the bakery windows. I wonder what that was?! As I was checking out a big black oily man with his beautiful nanahonkers can out and asked me if I wanted to try some LSD, I think his name was lime guava or something I dont remember because of the trip. Honestly it was a great store and I would come here again if I ever needs drugs.

Lots of parking. Place is clean. Staff are friendly. This countdown had undergone renovation not long ago. Look modern and well displayed. It has special aisles dedicated to gluten free, vegan and healthy foods. Open very earlier and close late. This is the main store to support the existence of Meadowbank shopping centre.

Only Countdown store in Meadowbank, which is big, has plenty of options in every section for good price. Open seven days a week. They also have great collection of wine in the beverage section if your looking for any type of Alocohol. Definitely a good place for grocery shopping.
