   Until a few weeks ago, this has always been a reliable supermarket. Now, you are lucky to get a shelf to get past online picking staff who need a dance lesson to understand peripheral vision and situational awareness to allow customers to get to the shelves. Sick of being second priority and clipped in the ankle and elbow with their carts/trolleys.

While choices can be slightly limited compared to bigger stores, what’s there tends to be high quality and consistently rotated. The meat and deli counters are modest but steady: nothing flashy, but reliably stocked with everyday cuts, small-batch deli items, and pre-prepared options for quick dinners. The bakery corner offers a practical range—breads, rolls, and pastries—sometimes with a few local favourites thrown in. Customer service at Greenlane is a highlight—staff are approachable, often remembering regular customers and greeting them by name. Self-checkout is available and usually runs smoothly, although there’s always someone nearby to help if necessary. The modest security presence keeps things feeling safe without ever feeling overbearing. Pricing is in line with other Woolworths locations, and keeping an eye on weekly specials or the app can really stretch your dollars. Parking is generally manageable—weekday mornings are ideal, but evenings and weekends do get busy, especially with the surrounding shopping precinct nearby. Overall, Woolworths Greenlane may not have the sparkle of a flagship store, but it nails the essentials: friendly service, quality basics, and a genuinely comforting shopping experience that locals appreciate.

   They used to open 24 hours but now they close at 10p. Have a shared parking areas with McDonald's and the EV charger with plenty of parking spaces. The interior is modern and keeps up with the other Woolworth shops. Staff members are friendly, helpful and attentive,although sometimes it seems that there are hardly any staff in the shop.

   I have spent over 7 years in this locality. This countdown is amongst the tidiest ones that I have seen. The staff here are also efficient. It is well lit so I like being here.

   Big, clean, pleasant to shop in. Mostly found what I was looking for. Similar layout of all Countdowns means it’s easy to find things if it’s not your local CD.

   Good location. Lots of free parking but don’t go there to take your prescription. Its pharmacists were not efficient. They were very slow. I had taken our prescription three times. Each time I had to wait 15 minutes regardless there were any other customers before or after me. Like this morning I got to wait for 15 minutes for a repeat of two packages of medicine. While waiting I didn’t see they were attending to any other customers. Last month my wife went there for free flu vaccination. She was asked to fill a prescribed form and wait 30 minutes. At the end she was told they didn’t have the vaccine and didn’t know when it would be available. So disappointing!

   This really is a stand-out Countdown. The two things that make it are the ease of parking, and the range of product. You sometimes will pay a little extra for some items (compared with Pak’nSave) but they rarely run out of most items. It’s always a pleasant shopping experience here.    I like visiting this place. Nice clean place with plenty of options from bakery. Very good collection of wines and details about each wine type is what stands out for me. Ambience is very good. No issues with parking here. Very nice staff here. They have a chemist as well.
