   I visited the park for a walk & to spend time with nature. I was delighted to see the Pohutukawas trees in full Christmas bloom. Walking paths were clean, tidy & had ample space for the walking public. I noticed only two benches to rest along my route, wish there were a few more. The trees were well maintained trimmed & tidy. I liked the open spaces, the lawns, the grass & greenery, everything was well cared for & in great shape. I was very pleased to say the least & my photos attempt to share the beauty of nature, the trees, the wide open spaces & the lovely flowers.

   Lovely park for dog walks and family time. Plenty of areas to excercise as well as privately and council-managed sports fields. There is a lovely cafe within and a couple of nice spots where to play with your dog.

Film crews also film here on a regular basis as well as the annual car show.
