   This school was honestly the most horrendous experience i’ve ever had, teachers were so bad at teaching and councilors never did much to help out students in need. Today there was a field trip that required signed permission slips, but even after me and multiple other kids did the required steps we weren’t allowed onto the trip and it was the most unorganized thing i’ve ever seen. They had us walk home in this weather.

   Really terrible school they don’t give out much help the teachers are lazy all they do is talk, recently my family member got pulled by the bag and push out the library what is up with that Alfriston College she human she has feelings to but she shows it different compared to others

   Miss two days of school and your attendance will drop down more than it should, The new principal is rude towards other teachers just by their appearances . You'll get sent home if you wear the wrong coloured socks.

   terrible school, some teachers are rude, unnecessary and don’t even teach the PROPER material in class, they just slap slideshows and math equations on the tv and don’t actually teach anything. year 11’s have exams coming up and all we learnt about was literacy when 90% of the class failed maths and we needed that extra learning. Teachers also ridicule students for trying to help eachother or for just simply talking, considering the fact that these teachers can’t even properly explain themselves, how else are students supposed to get that work done? and then when the SAME STUDENTS get the question wrong, these teachers get frustrated and dont even explain how to redo it, not trying to name anyone but a certain teacher in the tirohanga wbl for year 11’s can hardly explain anything and gets frustrated at students for not understanding. its not all teachers, but from my experience most of my teachers have been lazy but we the students take the blame for being dumb and slow with the work. Students are vaping in the bathrooms, there was a CAMERA found in the girls bathroom and the school failed to send out warnings to parents and teachers. not to mention the POOR discipline for most students, its either you get away with what you did wrong or you get stood down for something and go on ‘report’ which does nothing because the same students will do it over and over again. The teachers care more about uniform regulations more than anything, students will get bullied to the point they have mental issues but thats overlooked. during school we’ll have assemblies about how we aren’t allowed to wear white socks and black jackets, but students will be bullied and posted on instagram pages but that isn’t mentioned in those assemblies? Overall, the school is just not up to standard and is very slack. Teachers just focus on how students act instead of properly taking care of them and understanding why they act the way they do, students aren’t able to learn properly because of the environments we are in and the teachers that we have, i understand that there is a teacher shortage but why hire these people if they won’t even do anything? Is it not a sign that if only 7 PEOPLE passed a math exam that your teachers are slacking off? The school is confused on why students are failing yet we are not getting the proper education we need. You guys just like to blame us for ‘not listening’ and not having the proper uniform. If you’re planning to send your child to this school, do NOT do it!!

   My year 9 was wasted here. Teachers are alright and all but most students are as if they came here to fail in their education. They have no self respect and do the same for others which prevents students from gaining any education at all. The learning system is not that great either, mostly focuses on sports and not the education you need to prepare for exams and your future. Would not recoment sending your child here unless you want them having an unsuccessful life.

   MRS LOOMB. She is impatient, she advises for my nephews to call me while I'm at work to discuss my 2 nephews problems, mind you I'm a very busy worker. I call 3x for her to tell my kids, she is busy (arrogantly) I have voice recordings of MRS LOOM talking aggressively to my 2 nephews, she storms out and leaves and it has been an hour where their is no call back to discuss my nephews issues. She has locked my nephews bags in the office, it is break now and my nephews bag is still in her office, he needs his bag as it has his card, so he is able to go get him some lunch. MRS LOOM just know if you cannot handle my 2 nephews who are well respected when it comes to adults, how can you dare handle the 100 kids you take care of, I say you should leave because you cannot be useful if you are useless.

   I'm giving 5 stars cause I had a good experience. It was the year 2019, these kids from MH thought they were hard. We showed them up G. The moment they came on our turf, no question asked G. 2 right hook and a shin, and those bloody jokes were out cold. Come to this school if you want to become a UFC fighter one day. Also on Wednesday its weed suck party in the Whainga toilets.
