Took mother inlaw here to for her birthday to get a manicure and the staff were very professional and lovely. It was my mother inlaws very first time getting nails done and she felt comfortable here. Highly recommend.
I've been coming to Vina Nail Studio for awhile now and I love the team there. Super friendly always available. I've booked online a couple of times to secure a space and thats easy too, but I've been lucky to walk-in and they're always welcoming. What I love the most is their consistency when doing my nails and if you know me my nails are always done. Highly recommend great location in Onehunga. Outside Dressmart. Thanks team!!!
The actual nail quality of work done was good, however the customer service needs some work. The attitude of the male at the front desk is abhorrent, and the ladies doing the nails were dismissive. If you’re wanting to charge higher prices for your services the level of customer service needs to match!!! Edit: Honestly kind of interesting how you assume who I am, just so you can completely disregard the experience I had with you. Obviously your attitude is an ongoing issues as based on previous reviews, going back years, many customers have had issues with you and the way you’ve spoken to them. I think my review is very fair, I complimented the work done as the nails are well done but if you’re wanting to charge top of the line prices the baseline is that your customer service needs to match that of a top business. I haven’t once lied in my original or follow up review. Your attitude at the front desk was nasty and uncomfortable and has continued into your response to me reaffirming my opinion of you. Additionally, nails techs practically scoffing when they’re asked to touch up a single line on nail art isn’t appropriate. While the nail skills are there, your business needs a review on how to treat customers with respect and on how to take constructive criticism so that you can retain your customers. DON’T go here if you’re expecting to be treated as if you’re a valued customer because you won’t be.
This place cost me $125 for a 45 minute session for some simple gel nail art and two other customers had far more detailed and longer art than mine. I feel as if my price was made up on the spot. On top of that the owner and artist were nasty and refused to do mine or my friend’s pedicure. It is safe to say that I will not be going back and I’ll be spending my money wiser. In response to the owner the price was charged $5 higher than I was told. The money isn’t a huge issue for me it is the fact he is lying about it online which is beyond sketchy. I am forever amazed how a business run by such rude and arrogant people can stay in business. I’ve seen more professionalism in the chimp section of the zoo. There is nothing wrong with the quality but the way I was spoken to and the overall attitude of the workers was terrible. So unless you have a thing for being talked down to stay far away
literally the most incredible nail salon!!! the staff were so friendly, and it was such a relaxing experience, and the nails I got were exactly how I wanted them, identical to my Pinterest inspo pictures.
I usually go to this place to get my eye lash and nails done... BUT I CAN PROMISE WONT BE COMING BACK IN THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN NEVER! I did my lashes here today and , it was a nightmare! I have ask a suggestion from the lady to have one step longer of my lashes, and she suggested a 13 will be fine for me. I trusted her she is professional eye lash lady! they didn't show me any photo or any idea what will be the result, or any idea how is it going to look like, I describe it as a step longer than my lashes and a little voluminous. I stayed there for like 1.45 minutes and it was a horror! my lashes look so heavy overlapping my eyebrows. The lady was explaining to me using google translate. basically, they just informed me that it wasn't their fault. and they cant do anything about it they are fully book and then I had to come back some other time, they wouldn't return my money back and even wanting me to pay to get it fix...... the lady suggested the size , she didn't show me any pictures no idea what she is up to! HORRIBLE PLACE! So I went to flutter and co to get it fixed same , and they told me that lady put all 13 on my lashes. like straight 13 lol! I learned that you could mix it depending on the size of your eyes and structure, that lady sort of like , put the lashes on my eye's without even thinking if suits me or its gonna look funny on me! I clearly explained to her what I wanted! and to the reception guy as well! but they end up blaming me and asking me for more money to fix it! PS NOT THE ACTUAL LOOK BUT IT LOOKS LIKE THIS I WAS OPTING FOR NORMAL LENGTH AND JUST A LITTLE VOLUME!
Loveeeeed how my nails turned out at Vina. The staff are super friendly and so detailed and skilled in their work. My nails had lots of details and gems to it and they made my reference image come to life, I couldn’t be more happy with the results!! Highly recommend!
I’ve been coming here for a while now and today was my first time getting normal nail polish. They rushed me through as an end of day customer and my nails weren’t even dry properly, I was told just to be careful as they all raced out the door. Because my nails weren’t dry properly no end of manicure care was done and I left with my fingers looking dusty, dry and rubbish. Very disappointed as it is not cheap to come here.
I went in for lash extensions and nails. Staff were really good and very friendly. They made sure i am comfortable because i went in for lash extensions for the first time. And nails were done perfectly.
So happy with this place, the acrylic technician paid so much attention to each nail in each step he was doing. They fit me only called an hour before hand. and they were patient with me because I changed my mind on colors but they weren't annoyed at all. I felt so well taken care of and normally I go to one of the cheaper nail places and feel like just a quicky, but at Vina's I felt good about myself at the end because they cared. 100% worth the $90 for the treatment and better experience
