Great service and price. Why would you go to any of the big retailers when you can buy off a New Zealand owned company. We'll done Kichen and Things. The service and pricing was so good i have just bought more laundry items.

Went into browse and come across a salesman, Ron, who led us astray with some incorrect information, despite this Joe Chan was an absolute professional and helped us sort our kitchen appliances at the best price in town. A few months later went in to support this store again, the customer service I got was TERRIBLE.

We had a great experience at the Mt Wellington store with sales assistant Winny. She was knowledgeable of all the brands and appliances but took time to understand our needs without then trying to sell us something that was not suitable. We came away with a full kitchen package that was exactly what we wanted! Thanks Winny!

The steam oven demonstration we attended recently at Kitchen Things was amazing! Fiona showed us the various steam oven options and then demonstrated on the model (Bosch) that best suited our needs. Was blown away by how many different dishes could be cooked at the same time without the flavours intermingling. Everything was cooked to perfection – so moist yet nicely caramelised, and it all tasted really good! The steam combo oven will definitely be included in my kitchen upgrade! Thanks so much Fiona and Kitchen Things for a really wonderful experience!

Wonderful pre and after purchaser support from the staff we dealt with. Recently, Fiona prepared a 3 course demonstration for me (and my kids who are keen on cooking) so we could learn more about the features of our combi steam oven. Fiona was fantastic in every respect from scheduling a time that worked for us, providing advice on using the oven as well as cooking tips generally which we all appreciated. The food cooked showed a number of different cooking functions and tastes great, the cheese scones were the best we’ve ever had. Thank you Fiona. Grateful for the recipes on KitchenThings website to keep trying different functions and better understanding my oven. Now I am looking forward to a further technical demonstration to learn more.

Fabulous pre-sales purchase advice from Fiona (the inhouse cooking demonstrator). No disrespect intended for salespeople, but If you’re unsure of what brand or the differences between ovens, it is so refreshing to be able to speak to Fiona, who cooks with multiple different branded ovens in store, rather than salespeople who have all the fancy buzz words but may lack cooking knowledge or understand the nuances of home cooking. I consider myself a basic home (ie not gourmet) cook, but I do have my go-to special dishes. Yet I am unable to replicate these dishes to the same quality result in my more expensive “premium branded” oven at my bach due to the so-called sophistication/technology of pricier models vs my old “inferior branded” home oven. Hence Fiona’s cooking/oven knowledge really came into its own when comparing ovens to achieve the desired result for me personally. She understood the feature I needed that was common in many older ovens, but is now outdated with new moisture/steam features that is the new trend of modern ovens. Extremely helpful that Fiona turned on 4 different branded ovens to the same heating function and temperature, so that I realized (surprisingly), that one of the most “desired/premium” brands would actually produce the worst result for me (or more appropriately, my type of cooking – yet this same oven could potentially be someone else’s perfect dream oven if they cooked differently from me). I doubt a salesperson could have arrived at the same conclusion. Thankyou Fiona This REAL life experience rather than having sales tech-speak of all the bells and whistles is exactly what you need to know to make an informed choice of appliance. I happily use advice from a real cook over a salesperson

After buying a cooktop and oven from Kitchen Things we were talking to the KT people at the Ak Home show and they told us we could have a demonstration of how to get the best from our appliances at one of the KT demonstration kitchens. We booked with Fiona at Mt Wellington who greeted us with scones she had made in the same oven as ours. They were delicious. Fiona took us through all the functions of the stove, and answered our many questions. After doing this she cooked some.prepared roast veges and salmon for us to share. Fiona is a great demonstrator and we felt really grateful to have had her show us the abilities of our steam oven. We learnt so much. Thanks Fiona.
