Not a great selection of things but a really tidy, cutesy little store. I’ve been in bigger dairy’s.

Review below is correct. Not only is the selection terrible (which I can kinda excuse given it's a small location) buying milk and then realising it's 4 days over expiry is completely unacceptable. This location is a food safety issue and you shouldn't shop there until you absolutely have to.

This supermarket is the closest to me by far so I have been here a lot over the years. In that time I have accidentally bought stuff that was past its best before date with incredible frequency and almost made the mistake many times. I have seen tortellini over a month past its best before date on the shelves, packets of gnocchi with green mould growing within staying on the shelf for over a week, expired milk, and bread that is already stale. The fruit and vegetable section just looks sad, like leftovers from other supermarkets, and how often they have these issues year after year really leads me to an inescapable conclusion: they do it on purpose. I can’t really think of any other reason why there would constantly be so much expired food (a whole MONTH, really?) without anything changing for so long, unless they were trying, on purpose, to get away with selling old stock to unsuspecting people. Avoid this place like the plague if you can, and if its your only option, do as i do and make sure you check every best by date of everything you buy.

I walk in there well dressed man in my 40s and the security guard literally follows me around the store like I’m some type of criminal… halfway through I was like is this some kind of a prank show. Nope - I think it was educational on how others might feel sometimes so I on one hand Woolworth I thank you for that education and on the other hand, I will never shop at your store again for the disrespect.

Insane that a city supermarket doesn't open till 8am?! Tourists must think Auckland is a town and not a city...

Lovely small supermarket but surprisingly good selection of products and has a lot of me sale items. I evan found a 20 tray of eggs for the $11, which is good cause other supermarkets u can only get a tray of 12 for the same price
