I spent $1600 at Tyre Clinic for 4 new tyres and a full alignment, but just a couple of weeks later my car failed its WOF due to a loose wheel. I called them thinking it might be related to the recent work they did, but when I went in, no one even bothered to step out of the office to properly check the car. They immediately said it wasn’t their issue and sent me to a mechanic they know, who quoted $462 for a “replacement” without checking the car either. Thankfully, I decided to get a second opinion elsewhere — another honest mechanic spent just 30 seconds to look at it, tightened one bolt, and it was completely fixed (and they didn’t even charge me!). It’s really disappointing that after spending $1600, Tyre Clinic couldn’t take a few minutes to honestly check and help their customer. Definitely won’t be going back and would not recommend them — they need to be more honest, thoughtful, and take responsibility for their work.
A distinctly superior service. Better tyre choice, and much better price than my usual. There are lots of other tyre shops much nearer to my house, but I will definitely be coming back here in future.
