Just ducked into New World today and had a cracking experience at the bakery. The two ladies working there, whose smiles and lovely manner really made my day. They were so welcoming, it actually encouraged me to give the Sinabon Brioche Muffin a go – and fresh as it was, it was absolutely delicious. Top effort from those two, cheers!
New World Victoria Park is our favourite supermarket in Auckland. We usually go there and do our weekly grocery shopping on weekends. Staff there are friendly and helpful. We love their freshly squeezed orange juice so please get a bottle there if you are there next time. There are not many parking spaces there so Toh may need to get one parking lot, opposite to the supermarket. We highly recommend you to visit the shop if you live in Auckland CBD or happen to drive past there.
Best New World in Auckland hands down, meat, deli, cheese and bread selection is always tops. They are defiantly more expensive than anywhere else (other New Worlds, Countdowns etc.) but you get what you pay for. Best selection of fresh everything, well trained knowledgeable staff and free underground parking in he CBD.
I had a disappointing customer service experience. I purchased some items without receiving the expected discount, and when I kindly inquired about it while rushing. they couldn't provide a discount due to an issue with my New World card. And I had to show each corner what I purchased. They ended up showing me someone else's receipt, which was unnecessary. I suggested a simple solution of a refund or canceling the purchase, and purchase again. And My new world card was fine that time. but it took around 30 minutes and caused disruption to my plans. Attention to detail is essential. they shouldn't take so long for a payment.
Great stock. Like sliding down the ramp on my trolley. Always have always will, won’t apologise for that. Except for when I bowled over that middle aged man. That I am sorry for. They could definitely do with more of a lolly selection too.
This is a great shop with a HUGE variety of foods and drinks. It seemed a bit dearer than other stores, but as I said, they have a lot of different things, and their food presentation is fantastic, as the attached photos show. So if you are wanting to do your weekly shop or pick up a plate to take to a dinner party or a picnic or even a late night feast then this would ve a great store to go to.... They have parking underneath the shop which is handy as not a lot outside. Happy Shopping
We shop here when ever we are visiting from Australia. This shop has everything, lotto, fresh seafood and so many things you can buy to take back home to Australia. I can't believe the craft beer selection at this shop. In Australia it costs us about $15 a beer to try new Zealand craft beer. So to have a shop so close with such a good selection of beers is so good.
A very neat and clean New World supermarket around Victoria park. Has all the daily groceries you need. Totally loved shopping experience.
