The scones are so good best in the northern suburbs for sure! Their cupcakes are pretty good too. Unfortunately the coffee is really average has been burnt nearly every time. And one time when I ordered an oat milk fluffy for my child with a dairy allergy the server complained in earshot and said itβs impossible to froth oat milk. What I got was maybe a teaspoon of foam. Iβve never had any issues with oat milk fluffys with other baristas.
Genial little cafe that seems to be best known for home baked cakes (hence the name) . Very much an artisanal family business vibe. Only bought coffee but the cakes did look good. Interestingly the cafe is in the building where Plimmerton's first general store was.

I didn't really like the coffee but my partner did. Bacon Sammie with egg added was really good. Scone with ham and cheese also a winner. We will be back to try some cakes. They all look really good especially the cookie sandwich.

This is a lovely cafe with good quality food and drink, friendly service and a great location opposite the beach. In particular the cheese and bacon scones are delicious.
Great spot for a coffee with the beach just across the road. Banoffee cupcakes are amazing and the coffee is excellent!
