The girl behind the counter makes the best coffee! Always great service and the food there is really good.
The Mega /Centre in Porirua is a surprisingly large shopping area that accommodates a lot of the big hitters of retail. We often spend an afternoon there. While shopping at the MC the opportunity to grab a coffee and a nibble in pleasant surroundings is not huge. Some of the food places that used to do serious coffee now don't. Porirua Espresso is a welcome little treat - nestling amiably in the front part of the (largish) Stihl shop that sells all manner of mowers and wood stoves. The coffee is first rate, the chap is immensely friendly and the range of cabinet food is impressive. We tried the estimable salmon bagel and the toasted cheese and onion. The latter was made with excellent sourdough bread and the c/o was deliciously 'just right' (so often we find it isn't). A most pleasant half hour in an otherwise bland shopping expedition. We done PE. You're doing a grand job.
Not sure if I was just craving sugar but their chocolate doughnuts were divine. Highly reccomend checking it out.
