    Parcels don't get delivered. We were home, waiting at the time they "tried to deliver", and there was no attempt. And then you have to pick it up at a far location, with no weekend or after work service. How do you do this when you work full time? Completely useless service, that makes life impossible.

    I submitted feedback about my experience at Johnsonville Post Shop, and thanks for the reply. However, it did not help. I was disappointed that there were no Fragile labels, and staff, a middle-aged Asian woman, did not even offer to note “Handle with care” instead replying with cold policies “Parcel go in ULDs with stuff up to 25kgs and needs to be able to be packaged to be dropped from 1.2 metres.” Only expensive courier options were available — my parcel, valued under $250, cost over $74 to send to Christchurch. She replied, “Our price also is set by the company, it goes by weight and volumetric size as well.” I do not believe there is truly no economy option, as in my past experience even non-major cities had cheaper shipping. I hope NZ Post can offer more humane service, friendly staff and affordable shipping options to customers in the future.

    The amount of times a parcel has ended up here instead of the redelivery instructions being following is absurd. Premptively, I have already called and sent a general enquiry, so far it has been 11 days with no answers or any progress.

    Sent a graphics card tracked through NZPost. Got to my buyer destroyed. NZ Post has been avoiding any liability whatsoever and refuse to answer disputes or call back. Before and after photos. DO NOT USE NZ POST

    I feel a little sorry for the staff at this Post Shop. It is a very severe environment. A bit like revisiting outlets in the 1950s. Recent changes in cost of postal services get visited on the heads of the women behind the counter. There are notices warning customers about this. This leads to a certain attitude of "don't blame me I don't make the rules". Fair enough but my visit at Christmas was to a very stressed and heads down service unit with no obvious streamlining of queues. Would not really like to go back.

    Went here on 1/08/22 and wanted to pay an application fee for something and was told they didn't process new applications fees only renewals then looked at me like I was stupid. I left confused and contacted the particular authority who assured me I was in fact correct. Waste of time will go to another Post Shop to sort out.

    It's a shame, I've always had such great experiences but this time, I came about 7 minutes to buy a size 6 bag and tracing ticket. They started constantly asking me when if I'd send it now. And then told me to be faster as they were closing soon (3 minutes). This whole negative experience was all from one staff member who ruined it for every other staff member.
