Please do not get your ears pierced here the lady pierced my eyes on an angle so will not heal properly with a bar that was to small and to heavy for nearly $60 definitely better going somewhere else and she definitely was not qualified disappointed!!!
Michelle and her team are fantastic. Free Blister pack and staff are very Customer Centric ensuring all your prescriptions are discussed with you so that everything on your script is correct before and after processing. Highly recommend. 22/12/23 I loved this chemist and the regular Pharmacist and staff Customers were made to feel welcome and cared for. Unfortunately this has changed all regular staff have left. They have different pharmacists on different days with absolutely no collaboration between them. One example my script was sent by Dr on Monday to Unichem Albany Mega Centre Pharmacy I phoned and discussed with female pharmacist any queries regarding meds were discussed and agreed. Daughter went to pickup Script Thursday and nobody new anything about it. Eventually after waiting 1hr 30 minutes the Male pharmacist completed the script minus amount of tablets for a certain drug that should have been on the script. How sad Customers do not matter and worst of all they dont care.
How very sad. Everything I loved about this chemist has gone. All the long term regular staff have left. Care courtesy continuity is no more. I don't feel safe dealing with different dispensing staff on a weekly basis. I check my pills thoroughly. A chemist is much like a GP someone you know and trust. After I pick up this week's pills I will be moving on to a familiar friendly competent chemist albeit it over the bridge. I just hope that the addicts and mentally ill customers are treated kindly and with respect. But this concerns me.
Made an unplanned visit to Unichem needing to find myself some KN95 masks for work. I discovered a whole rack of Meo branded pack of 10s. Looking at the price I thought it was a bit expensive but I knew the brand had a good reputation and it is an NZ company. The pharmacist was nice and I thought why not, she's lovely to purchase from. I was initially happy with my purchase till a coworker asked about them and looked up the Meo brand online. That was how we found out that I had paid over double the price Meo was selling them for! I purchased them at $39.99 from Unichem, my coworker bought them online at $18.00, shipping was roughly $5.00 and she received them within a week. I honestly don't care for a refund, but I would like to know how Unichem decided on such a mark up. To get $39.99 retail would mean their supplier sold stock to this retailer at near Meo's RRP, if so Unichem needs to sort it out with their supplier. Because as a first time shopper at this location, I will not be returning. At least the positive is that these guys had a lovely pharmacist working at the time of my visit.

A whole group of people including myself were waiting outside for the booster shot, where we had found out that the vaccines would not be distributed an hour later. Staff were not friendly and did not care to let the waiting crowd outside know of the situation and much time was wasted here. Would not recommend.
Rude Service. The 40 years old white lady with glasses. saying cannot help to provide the vaccine pass without Hospital code (I checked on the official site saying that NHI code is not necessary to be provided.) I was asking that how can i get this number get the response as "everybody get this number if vaccined" even I showed her my vaccine record card.My English speaking might not that influence and don't be get that racist face to me OK? Why such an arrogant person can sitting in such a helpful postion? "Come back tomorrow once you got the number" Excuse me, are you that thirsty and cannot wait for your appointment with Magic Mike tonight even now is only 5:20pm , Right? If so, wish you have a nice one tonight.
Came straight after work and it says "walk in" no appointments needed as usual. A lady at the front ask me in an angry way without even saying "Hi, how are you" or anything like that if I have an appointment which I said I do not so she asked a person which was sitting in a chair behind her and he said no we are closing now.....I felt everything but welcome ...Such negative welcome......I just wanted a vaccine.....I am working and left even earlier to get the vaccine.....there is people getting seriously ill and our country is struggling while these people sitting there and telling people that they are closing now....it was 5 pm......even if I came at closing time they could tell me that in a human way......if they do not want to be there then they should leave someone else working there.....so unbelievable rude......sorry to disturb your pre work finishing mude.....both should get fired....and we pay taxes for such people!
