   Today I visited Lotus Supermarket in Manukau and had a very unpleasant experience. My 3-year-old daughter was holding some candy when she slipped on the floor near the counter. She started crying, and instead of checking if she was okay, an employee immediately said that we had to pay for the candy. We informed him that we were willing to pay and asked him to come and check on our daughter, but he continued insisting on payment without showing any concern for her condition. The floor had not been cleaned, and no effort was made by the staff to address the situation. I ended up cleaning the area myself. The employee’s behavior toward us, especially toward a small child, was very rude and unacceptable. I believe that if your company invests in advertising, it should also ensure that staff members have basic manners, customer service skills, and humanity. This was my last visit to your Manukau Lotus Supermarket. Additionally, the candies were of very poor quality and not fit for consumption. I will attach pictures of the candies along with their price for your reference.

   Manukau Very high price on oil and ghee. Its almost diwali and all the supermarket around papatoe and manukau giving oil for 12.99 for 5 litre and ghee 12.99 for 750ml but lotus still milking money why still driving high price. Ak supermarket and Super Save papatoe doing excellent deals on oil and ghee. Fruit and vege quality at lotus is really good. Paneer is very good price as well. Doesnt feel diwali vibes in Lotus to be honest in Manukau Branch. Paring boys Very rude even spaces in front car park they tell everyone to park at the back and walk long distances

   This is a supermarket specialised for Indian groceries: fruits and vegetables, spices, frozen food, imported snacks and desserts, drinks etc. It’s kind of crowded as the aisle was narrow. The parking is a tricky during peak hours. The selection of fresh fruit and vegetables is not the biggest and the prices are not competitive.

   Helpful staff! You mostly get everything you need. Plenty of car park. They have some cool tunes playing inside. Friendly check out people. I recommend this place for good products and good customer service

   Visited this supermarket and because another passenger that was in my car wasn’t also visiting this store, they went next door, the man who was ‘security for the car park continued to stalk us and our car the entire time we were there, got a friend to try and block us in and continued to follow us while we left. He’s lucky we were able to get out of that car park. Dodgy establishment with dodgy intentions. Don’t go there.

   Not very clean. They mainly have north indian items. Thry should bring in more south indian products. The spices are all mixed up and not very organised. Very hard to find parking in weekends and peak hours. Fruits are the worst. They are cheap but looks like they are selling the fruits that are rejected by countdowns and new worlds. Customer service needs to be improved. Some are friendly and some are not.

   The shop is definitely much more organized and has better products than Mt. Roskill branch. It is big, has decent no of parking, of Cavendish drive and 10 minutes walk from Manukau train station. Really like it. Highly recommended for Indians to try this shop if you are looking for Indian spices and raw ingredients for food.
