   Poor craftsmanship. Replaced my driveshaft centre bearing. Disassembled driveshaft incorrectly and now drives with a vibration exceeding 80km plus, never happened before even with a worn centre bearing. Contacted MTA who also contacted the garage and took my car back in to remedy the issue but was not resolved, and blamed a fault in the gearbox (gearbox has no issues). At the same time needed to fix a leak in the left steering rack boot, but was taken apart cleaned and sprayed with brake clean and also reassembled incorrectly. I would not recommend this garage and if you are using this garage, make sure to check over what work has or hasnt been done on your car.

   I went in just asking for advice on a stuck hand brake all I wanted was a minute of the guys time to help me out but he blew me off telling me he had job reports to do. I just wanted him to point out what needed to be adjusted/loosened and he sat at his desk and said all you need is a good flash light. A flash light isn’t helpful if i dont know what im looking at. I understand people are busy at work but a minute to help someone out is not hard.

   My car broke down on the motorway and we organized for our car to be taken here to be looked at. They were absolutely lovely and took our car last min even getting it fixed by the end of the day. Would recommend coming here to get your car looked at!

   John seemed very professional and really helpful while I was looking for quotation values for my issue. I checked different auto services around the area as I was a bit tired of AA Auto Centre as I had a very bad experience with AA Wellington before so I definitely recomend Auto Tech Miramar. My experience with Auto Tech Miramar was great. The description in the invoice was very clear to me, the identification and cost of the issue was accurate from the very beggining. I can say that from now I will choose Auto Tech Miramar without a doubt. Thanks John and your team for the good work.

   Booked for 9am on a Saturday, turned up at 8.50am, happy to wait until 9am, got to 9:20am before anyone showed up. I was happy to sit and wait, read my book, I was told 'I ha e your number will call you when it's done' um.. might be a reason why I booked my WOF at 9am. Not going back, ohh and he did work on the car without calling first. I would have changed the bulb myself if I had been told

   A bit disappointed with the service. I'm not sure whether its because I'm a young person or what, but I called in to get brakes looked at and instead a WOF check was done. Everything had "passed" with flying colours but there was no mention of any wear and tear that could happen in the near future, which I have had before from other places that I've done my WOF with. About a week later we started hearing a squeaky noise coming from the brakes, which wasn't there before. Unfortunately we weren't able to take it back as we have busy lives and theres not always a vacancy that's suitable to us all. We decided to not use the car for a bit to see if that would help, but unfortunately not. We have now taken it to a different garage and to all of our surprise there are no brake pads at all in the rear end of the car along with other issues which has now caused even more damage. The new mechanic was quite shocked when we told him the story. I am only furious with the service we received at Auto Tech Miramar because we travel with our 2 year old son every day and to know that something like this could've been prevented in the first place is disgusting. Definitely won't be returning here anytime soon.

   Took my partners Toyota Corolla here for a light bulb replacement to get a WOF. Mechanic replaced the bulb on the spot and did not charge for it. Now taking the car there for regular service as the service is top notch and not ridiculously priced. Highly recommend if in this area

   The owner is my BROTHER of course I have only good things to say about his business. Our dad was a mechanic and my brother started out sweeping floors at 15 to get an apprenticeship by 16 and the rest is history. He loves what he does & that's why he is so good at it.
