   Excellent hike and views. All of Wellington is there for your viewing pleasure. I absolutely love how they designed and continue to design this city. You can tell they tried to incorporate the current topography with minimal disruption. Not for the faint of heart, the hills and wind can be challenging. But getting around is a breeze via public transport. I look forward to going back in the near future.

   Awesome park with hiking trails, lookouts, sports grounds and a dog exercise area. The best view point is at the top of the hill along the ridge from the lookout up behind the old building. It's a short walk up to the lookout from the car park by the dog exercise area. Great views of the South Coast, Island Bay and Wellington International Airport.

   Good views. Rough regenerating hills. Quite steep in parts. Tracks Greasy when wet. Well posted tracks for the southern walkway. Ww2 relics.
