   Uber drivers will accept your ride but never pick you up. They do this because only long trips are worth it for them, but, they have to accept rides or Ubers algorithm will down rank them. As a result, you can easily spend an hour booking rides, waiting, having them cancel, repeat. All while taxi drivers hound you to get in their cab for 2-3 times the price. This is especially bad around 1am I see 3 solutions: 1. Uber increases driver profits. 2. Auckland airport ends their draconian deal with Taxi companies (Ubers are forced to wait outside the airport, taxis are not.) 3. Uber drivers act with more integrity; don’t accept rides you won’t complete. Get a grip — surely we can do better than this

   Not fit for purpose. Too far from terminal. Difficult for elderly or disabled. Not fully covered for wet weather. No clear signage for booked taxis. No visible assistance to ask for directions.

   This waiting area for Taxi's, Shuttles and Rideshare drivers is a bloody disgrace. It is sub-standard, poorly maintained, full of potholes, and more often than not the gate (a one way in/out system) jams up and we can't get out. If you do get stuck, your better off just sliding the gate manually, because the idiots on the intercom couldn't care less, and wont help you. When the gates do work, you play a game of "Hit and Miss" as drivers speed as they enter or exit. Often, the area is dark, as they dont turn the lights on in the carpark. There is not enough parking spaces, and the communal building is dirty and often stinks. The toilets, are not cleaned frequently either. Auckland Airport should be ashamed of this facility, not that they give a damn, as they prefer to hike our fees and/or over charge us - and refuse to refund any over charges. My advise is dont wait here, unless you really have to.

   The access roading and driveways are in extremely poor condition. As for the drivers they use the driveways for personal exercise and it is hazardous to drive past them. An accident waiting to happen.

   This area is just "Yuck" its poorly lit at night, there is not enough parking, and the drivers speed in and out of here. Do not like the single lane enterance at all. This area is just a dreadful area, I hate this place. Signage says you are not ment to park on the grass, but there is not enough parking. Also, as you enter the signage is supposed to be a one way loop around, from the left of the sign, well those other drivers always turn right despite "No Right Turn" and you almost have a head on while trying to exit out. Sort this horrible parking area out, as its an accident waiting to happen.
