I got a fade haircut here, but unfortunately, it didn’t turn out as expected. The blending on one side wasn’t quite right—especially on the right side, where it wasn’t even, and the left side didn’t have a proper zero fade, leaving the hair longer than it should be. The shape of the top hair also didn’t match what I was hoping for. That being said, the overall service was good, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. I appreciate their effort, but for a $40 haircut, I expected a bit more precision.
Last month I would've given them 6 stars for great haircut and the friendly experience. Today, I'd give them nothing. So got a hair cut wrong earlier in the week, (they did say we'll fix it if it doesn't come right). Went today to get it fixed, said they were too busy. To go somewhere else. Or come back later next week. Regardless I'd have to pay second time. Expensive mistake. Thought they be my new regular, but not this time.
My two kids loved their barbers Waylyn and Joel, and the amazing results. Since moving to NZ we have been to a few spots and finally I think we settle on Shape up for good.
Awesome haircuts and very friendly staff
We took our 1& 1/2year old here on Saturday morning for his first haircut. We had no idea how he would cope with it. But Matt was incredible with him and did a wonderful job.The shop was great and put my son at ease. Can not recommend these guys enough. Think we have found our sons barbershop from here on out.
I became a regular after my cut by Antz and Matt a few years ago. The team here focus on quality and pay attention to detail which is hard to find these days. Great services, easy book-in system and walk-in services, consistent cuts, friendly team, clean facility and a good atmosphere to be in. 10/10
