I liked that there were some more healthier options. Coffee was decent. And it’s in a good central location. The reason for a 3 star review though are for a few reasons: 1) The acoustics - There were only a few groups of people in the cafe on a weekday, but with the cafe music competing with the music outside in the hallway and kitchen putting away dishes, it was very loud and a lot of sensory overload. 2) The cafe seemed to be understaffed , and the workers looked stressed and overwhelmed. My food was hurrily just plonked down on the table. 3) I asked for something specific with my order and they forgot to bring it out. 4) Couldn’t find a menu online Sorry guys, but I don’t think I will be back. All the best.

This is an interesting place to others an amazing vibe, it has the choices I am generally interested in and of course it has a hint of southern African quinine, whether you come for a coffee, or a breakfast with boerewors or you lunch with a bunny chow can you really go wrong in a place like this, I think not! It is definitely a great place to eat and you should give it a go!

While working in Wellington I needed something quick, tasty and hearty. I ticked all boxes by coming here. With friendly staff, excellent service and delicious food, why not stop by? I had the Bunny Chow, lamb curry served in a loaf of bread. A great dish for a chilly day. Next time I'm in town I'll certainly be calling in!

You guys come highly recommended by a friend who works above the cafe. Not disappointed, awesome breakfast, will be back next time we’re in town for sure.

Score 69/100 Scone Review : Cheese. Good size, not too big, not too small, just right. Good level of exterior cheese, nicely bronzed. Alarmingly slightly squared, always a sign the mix has been too dry and has enabled cutting. Texture dry and crumbly. Still quite light but the ratios are all off here. There has been too much butter in the mix making it crumbly and more cake like than scone texture, and it is too dry, insufficient milk. Taste is too sweet, pretty sure there is sugar in there, certainly no cayenne and no herbs. Maybe this is made for the American palate, where everything is hyper sweetened. The Cortado coffee on the other hand was very good. No longer confused with a Piccolo. Small cup size delivered a very tasty punchy Cortado, just as it should be. Very good friendly staff here, very accommodating!
